Cross Board thread were removed a few days ago im afraid. Same story of the few abusing it and ruining it for everyone. As for the match. Every game is vital now. We're at home so with all respect to Fulham its a game we should be winning.
I have posted a thread on the Fulham board inviting them over to this thread to talk about the match.
Since you guys thumped us 5-0 at our place and we are off the back of two losses I can't imagine us getting anything out of it. I just hope we go and attack instead of sitting back waiting for the final whistle to sound so we can go home.
fulhamireland has it pretty spot on. Worst away record in the league vs second best home record. We've only managed 8 goals in 14 on the road all season. We have had creditable draws at Arsenal and Chelsea but, frankly, I'm just hoping for a better performance than Saturday and that we show a bit of character.
I think we might get something out of the game, our players seem able step it up a bit when we play the top 4 (not always mind!). Depends on how the team approach the game really, I'd say a solid 7 at the back - Schwarzer, Kelly, Riise, Senderos, Hangelaand, Diarra & (can't believe I'm advocating this) Etuhu - and then Dempsey, Pog, Dembele and Frei/Duff on the attack might get us something. If we are a goal up with 30 to go let Danny come on and calm it down a bit. It's quite an usual Utd team this year, capable of scoring lots of goals and obviously a good team - but also seem a bit vulnerable in an odd - can't be tamed but cries at night bad boy - kind of way.
We should deff win this, didn't realise how bad their away form is. It is football though we could have an off game or Fulham could play some sort of defensive master class. I'm going to go with a 3-1.
I fancied the last match against Fulham to be tough, I was wrong. I fancy a comfortable United victory this time.... please let me be right.
The fact Fulham have the worst away record bothers me for some reason, like because they've been so poor on the road they're destined to get something at OT. Back in December we played Wolves, Fulham, and Wigan and won 4-1, 5-0, and 5-0 respectively. I'd like to see a similar pattern this time around, but I do feel a bit nervous.
This. Although if we get absolutely mullered I won't lose any sleep. We're more unpredictable than any team in the Premier League IMO (and that's saying something) and still in transition.
well if anything hopefully it will be a good open game for of end to end attacking football. Unless united lose and then it will all have been a load of ****
not into these monday night kick-offs, two on the bounce, city can have the phsyc by going top before hand ...as long as they win their matches tough.
