My night was spent tonight missing my first home game of the year at my daughters theatre performance. Tense moments throughout with the staff insisting I was photographing her and me showing them the live sky sports commentary! As curtains closed it was 2-0. I was depressed not so much about the result but because I could hear the boos ringing in my mind, Barton being jeered off and a general slagging off of the team. I am well documented on here in saying that doesn't help anbody while there is hope. Support to the end and sing proud. Imagine my surprise as I nearly crashed my car on the way home realising after about a minute of listening they were describing a winner and not an equaliser!!

So what an amaing result but what makes it extra special............ If we were a United or Arsenal it becomes the expected. As an underdog without the full trophy cabinet these victories are all the sweeter because they are not the norm. Too much of a good thing and you become numb to it. Revel in this victory, we deserve too. Great fight but most importantly we cheer, sing and support everyone to the bitter end. Teams will naturally underestimate us by virtue of our position, they will settle on a goal lead and assume they have a right to victory. All the crap about preparing properly goes out the window as that is the human make up. So lets take advantage of these big boys expecting us to roll over (that sounds bad but i'll leave it in for comedy effect!). Who cares that we have a tough run in, it is what it is so lets get on and win some, after all our record against the bottom of the table is crap. Come on you RRRR'S.

As shown in the opening credits of "The 4 year plan", we didn't even have a trophy cabinet! Our Silverware was stored in the Bog!

Good post there Ranger. I think you've articulated all our feelings right now.

    (P.S. How was the play?)

Cheers Swords and as for the play lets just say it wasn't quite Loftus Road but she did well! It felt quite strange without a seat in front pressing against my knees!
