Kenny was my favorite all time player, he oozed skill and class but his record as a manager is an also ran where ever he has been. Its a shame that i say this but he has not got what it takes to ever make liverpool up there challenging the other big teams for the title. to finnish between 5th and 8th every season is just not good enough for a team like liverpool and however much a legend kenny is for liverpool that wont win titles, who would i bring in......i dont have a clue but im afraid kenny is not the man to make liverpool the best....
I think they would hold a meeting with Kenny about the future and see where he thinks he will fit in. If he believes that it would be best for the club if he moved on, then so be it. But personally, I think he should be given more time as I really don't want us to turn into a club that changes managers every few years to win trophies.
I see that and agree, but why then did we get rid of Rafa who won us the CL, FA, CL Final and had ONE bad season in terms of not in the CL? I am all for patience but I think Kenny will stay but he has GOT to get this summer right, we have to be better in the league next year, not just fourth either for me, if we have the green we should be able to compete much better.
I don't agree. And neither was I a top 4 chirper - let's not get offensive shall we?! As ive said I don't believe he's the man for tge future and I'm not the only one. Rediculing someone for their opinion isn't all that clever.
So possibly finishing below Swansea,Newcastle,Everton ,Sunderland, Stoke is acceptable. If thats the mentality of some fans we are gonna be mid table mediocre for years and years to come yet My prediction Kenny will survive the summer , come next November after some more sh*t buys ,and more mid table mediocrity fans will finally lose patience with Kenny next year when we are out of contention for the CL AGAIN.This will happen if he doesnt go
I know Arsenal have not won much lately but they do a good job in always building, growing, and being there and competing. Look at them this year, granted RVP was huge in it, but from the start to the finish, incredible really. We spent at least 2x as much as them as well, we need the Sterlings, suso, coady, wisdom, to start coming through as well.
I wasn't getting offensie, or ridiculing you. It was merely an observation that people who usually call for a managers head so early are the same ones who are prepared to shout the loudest about how well we are going to do in the league, when we're only in pre-season.
I don't see that at all, Utd don't go spending stupid money and they try to develop players, they have also said they wouldn't rename OT. Anyway don't want to praise them too much.
