You forgot the 'boring' bit. I always thought it was better to know nothing than to know a little, but of course you know everything..... ****er
Really? I always thought it's better to know a little rather than nothing. I gather you know what the word ****er means.....well that's something!
Plenty of mates, as for work probably, it's my own business so I'm expected to be hated! It's little twats like you I have to put up with that causes the problems.
Just a boring know it all ****, own business... yea, plenty of mates.... yea, just a jumped up boring little ****er. As you grave will read 'returned unopened'
Going back to the thread... Dave Jones was my first choice because of the job he had done with Cardiff, irrespective of the fact that they failed to get over the line for about 4 seasons on the trot. I would rather be failing in the top 6 than the bottom 6. Jones could have built a platform for us with his experience. I have it on very good authority he really wanted the City post but City refused to match his wage demands. However, Sheffield Wednesday have managed to meet those demands!? What does that say about our board and financial situation?? For the record I'm not anti Del and the jury is still out. As I've said before I will judge him next Christmas. If we are in League One I expect us to be in and around the promotion picture whereas if we are still in the Championship I expect to be comfortably mid-table as a minimum. I support this club 100% and wasn't too impressed by our so-called fans being sarcastic towards James everytime he caught it or kicked it after the mistake. I can't see for the life of me how jeering is going to help but hey ho each to their own but I thought it was sickening personally.
Don't have any jobs going do you? Seven weeks left til uni finishes for the summer and i'm broke, the joys of being a student!
Wont get any argument from me. I thought it was ridiculous, if your goalkeeper is having a bad game and looking low on confidence after making a howler jeering him is obviously going to make it better... I don't think that it's fair to judge any manager until they've had their own pre season to change things around. Look at the rebuilding job Charlton did and how they've been playing this season.
I would never jeer or boo any of our players, but that is typical of a minority of our moron fans, did the same regarding Maynard, no wonder he wanted to go quick once our clueless board put him on the market. I don't blame Del for our position, I blame the board for the decisions made over the last couple of years.
I blame the board too Onefor. Our club is run like an amateur league club and it's really starting to grind my gears now. They are taking us to League One whilst they fanny about doing nothing and pretending to be important. I never jeered Nicky either. I think he is a very silly boy unable to think for himself but whilst he was at City he got 100% of my support and encouragement. Goalkeeping wise me made a huge mistake offloading Henderson because IMO he is better than Deano.
Pretty bad mistake though,I've got to own up,I didn't clap him for his mistake...
No worries onefor! Thought it was worth a punt The amount of money we've wasted on signings that really haven't performed is staggering. As well as extending the contracts of players that were never going to take us to the next level. Woolford being a prime example... £800k for crying out loud!! The whole Maynard saga was allowed to continue on for far longer than it should've done, there should've been a deadline and when that passed he's up for sale. I think hendo told the club he wouldn't sign after we extended Deano's contract or something like that, he would've been a better deputy to James and a long term number 1 afterwards.
It looks 10 times worse from that angle if that was even possible! From behind the goal it looked like he was under more pressure from the Watford player. FFS why did he decide to punch that!? I'm not saying clap him but I don't think jeering does anything to help the team or player.
Matt,I never jeer and agree with you but we are a broad church and people pay their hard earned money that let's a lot of these heroes buy their new, flash cars for losing and some don't seem to care...and it matters..
Wiz the players car park says it all about how much they get paid. For a team in deep trouble they certainly aren't being poorly paid by the club...
why does it matter what they are paid? Do you expect them to turn down the money that is offered for minimum wage? It's just jealousy as people on here obviously have not worked as hard as them to get where they are. Probably too busy out on the piss and then blame the fact that they weren't blessed with "god given talent". There is no such thing. Look up the 10,000 hour rule if you want to see how people become masters of any sport/subject etc. Now we all know the current team aren't playing well and have deficiencies in certain areas but to blame it on earning to much is ridiculous IMO
How can we expect the team to fight for each other, the manager, and the club when we, the 'fans' cant manage it?! It appears to me that during the Leicester game the crowd really were the '12th man', whereas during far too many games this season the '12th man' has been sat with their feet up pissing and moaning. With regards to the lack of signings during the January transfer window - I think the biggest problem was that players were unwilling to sign bearing in mind the position we were in, the lack of time DM had to source/negotiate, and the prospect of our 'star' striker leaving the club. Regardless of which division we are in, the summer will hopefully give Del time to get rid of the dead wood, and bring in who he wants. Most importantly we need a strong captain - something I think we have been missing for a very long time.
