i know its petty.. but these kind of posts really bug me.. its every week now..

worry about city's results first & foremost, forget about the other teams around us.

if we're good enough to make the play off's it wont be because teams around us lost, it will be because we won games.

 

Draws for teams competing with us for the playoffs certainly reduces the points total and the number of wins we still need to get to grab at least sixth spot.

Don't want Blackpool to gain three points therefore.

Not really - I'm more bothered about Blackpool dropping points than you gaining points at this moment in time, surely for obvious reasons? Why would we want Blackpool to win, and sit 4 points ahead of us, instead of you winning, meaning we're one point behind them with a game in hand, with you still 4 points behind?

And if you beat us, then we're as good as done in terms of the playoffs - unless we go on a very good run.
