Great result and out of the bottom 4. Well done the lads. Tough one on Saturday against MK, any result would be good. We have more teams above us in our sights a win could catch one of them. COYB!
Having been a gloom & doom monger for the last 2 months it is now obvious I know bugger all about football! What a great little run of form Wycombe have found, but where the hell has it been all season? 2 away wins in a matter of days following a truly shocking away record in the previous 6 months. I am so chuffed to see you out of the bottom 4 places but obviously there are more and probably harder games to go before the end of the season so I am still not sure about your survival chances. All the same, I remain hopeful you can survive and as always will be watching out for your results way ahead of most others I also noted Paul Hayes bagged a brace as well - told you he would score plenty of goals!
Cheers Thai, you were right about hayes he's picked up the mantle from where trotta left it and provided some goals more importantly though i think along with the other loanees they've provided that fresh impetus that was needed. Awesome result i said to myself that i might allow myself to start believing the impossible relegation escape could be on IF we beat exeter and we are now out of the relegation zone and confidence is high. And looking at our run in it needs to be high. Next up: MK Stevenage Carlisle Chesterfield Charlton Notts County Sheff Weds These are all teams who have something to play for which the pessimist in me says we will have a tall order in which to stay up. BUT the hardest thing in football is crossing the line and gaining the reward of promotion/avoiding relegation so these teams are bound to be a tad nervous which makes this new found confidence and form imperative
Well done lads, out of the drop zone. Rocky you can stop your Private James Fraser stuff now please log in to view this image BTW due to the removal of cross-board threads the Blues Banter Bridge has got broken at your end!
Pleased Paul Hayes is scoring goals for you, not been getting much of a chance with us unfortunately. Good to see you guys getting out of the relegation, hope you stay up.
Excellent result guys and out of "The Zone". Don't know what's going to happen with Hayes but our result last night I'd say means we won't be calling him back straight away. The Doc will be staying a while longer...
Being a football fan is a fickle business. I'm suddenly back to believing that we could pull this off and that 50 point target doesn't feel so far away now. We've got a hard run-in but we're 2nd in the current form table and have 4 games at home that we can win if we carry on as we are. Waddock has a habit of finishing the season well, but crucially the good run appears to have started earlier than the last time we were in League 1. Fingers are firmly crossed for this to continue.
