Great two nights of football for our lads. Results couldn't have gone any better really. The home one to Liverpool now has quite a bit of significance in terms of maintaining a gap between ourselves and the chasers. I think more than anything the results show how competitive the league is, and just how good, not lucky, we've been this season. Obviously you want to do well in all the games but I think the obvious ones for us to look at are Liverpool, Bolton and Stoke at home, plus maybe Wigan away (who are scrapping and its not always a happy hunting ground). Swansea, Everton, Chelsea, West Brom away look tough fixtures to me, but we do alright at the Hawthorns. Man C at is a tough one to call. They're a class act but we are good at home. I just think they may be a bit more desperate for the points. It would be lovely if the game at Chelsea was an all or nothing for 5th place. Of course the results never go how you expect!!
Maybe it will end up being 4th looks like Champions League football for Newcastle next year, oh well we can dream can't we.
