cheers SSAS, can you be slightly more specific on the link there? there's about 4 "front row sports" websites. Really appreciate the heads up, although I'd really like to know exactly which one it is, so i haven't got to mess about at 7.30 tonight . cheers fella!
I normally go with whatever one I come to first, it always works, I am useless on a computer so im sure if I can find it, youll be just fine.
Am I really the only one scared ****less about tonights match? I honestly fear another loss....we have been off the boil .... a bit unlucky and without Lennon very unbalanced...got a real bad feeling about this one...but then again I am a moany ol git as my teen daughter lovingly refered to me as!
There's no doubt about it that it's going to be a tough game. Stoke is NEVER an easy game. We have to get the tactics right. Simple. If we mess about and start playing modric on the left, bale on the right etc etc, we're buggered from kick off. Can't afford to do that against stoke, if they score we could be up **** creek
Stoke are a very dangerous, well organised outfit, whose strengths are our weaknesses, but I feel that we've been playing against our own tactics recently. Team selection is everything and I hope that there's no distraction or lack of focus following the weekend's events.
We're due a win, plus lets not forget the away game agaisnt Stoke, never seen such an unjust victory! we was robbed left right and centre so Stoke are due a good beating from us. Also I expect a big game from VDV & Bale Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Saha. Subs: Cudicini, Giovani, Defoe, Rose, Livermore, Sandro, Nelsen. Good line up, Sahas movement will be key.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17363161 Having seen the official line up, it appears Harry might be listening! This is also the line-up that I wanted to see here. I just hope it works now. COYS
No you're not!! This is a game that I would have been nervous about even without the recent events and general "circus' that is inevitably going to be following the team/club around this week. IMHO we have to win this game to give ourselves a chance of CL footsie next year: I am expecting the Goons to get at least a point, probably 3, from Everton and Chelsea have a new-found impetus AND Torres thinks he has rediscovered his mojo. So with Citeh in less than imposing form I can see the Chavs also getting a positive result. If that all pans out then we will have lost any advantage - either in points or mental attitude - with only a handful of games to go. It really is a case of 'which Spurs' team turns up tonight: one carrying the pressure of last weekend on top of some recent depressing results, or the other, confident in their ability and determined to see the battle through! Now I might be unduly pessimistic and on the converse, if we do win, then I think that we will prevail at the end of the season. Guess I should be down the bookies following the earlier advice and putting £10 on our rivals!!!!
For those that asked we do get all the PL games live and I will be watching most of the 1st half. Unfortunately I have to miss the 2nd as I have to go to work-but I am recording to watch later. COYS!
i don't think Torres has refound his mojo,he done the same thing earlier this season, scored against a Championship team, and could'nt do it in the epl, could be the same again,we'll have to wait and see
Needless to say Tots I hope you are right - just that he is publicly more confident and just in time for he game against us!!!! Sod's Law........
