This becomes more and more apparent whenever he is out of the side. We should release him (not reallly, bear with me...) send him off for plastic surgery, renam him Quentin Smith and sly him back in midfield, therefore avoiding the piss take yellows that he gets for daring to breathe! Plan?
Chappaz, We have played ****e in several games since MON came in and got results, due to moving the wall-like O'Shea at CB. Your theory is totally inaccurate, we have not played champagne football every week under MON, not by a long shot. What we need is more players, we have visibly tired players, that is the issue. I wouldn't take Tiote over Catts recently, and I think that although he's very decent, he is ridiculously overrated.
[h=1]Are we being unfair and expecting to much?[/h] Not at all, we are discussing a bad result on a ****ing football forum! I don't say much different on here to what I say when drinking with mates over a drink. And trust me we get pretty agitated with each others opinions on certain things in games. If players play badly they deserve stick, no matter what has gone before. It's up to them, to put dissenters down next time they play!
Newcarstle Last 10: Norwich: 1-0, played ****e & scraped through Arsenal: 1-2, played well but got beat Sunderland: 1-1, 50-50 match, but Sunderland down to 10-men Wolves: 2-2, played crap, but Wolves are woeful and you threw a 2-0 lead Spurs: 0-5, played ****e, got humped Villa: 2-1, no idea how you played but Villa are pretty crap Blackburn: 2-0, no idea how you played but Blackburn were losing a lot at the time Brighton: 0-1, I suspect you played poorly and lost Fulham: 2-5, I suspect you played ****e and got thumped so you've played ****e in 5 games, lost three of them the equivalent of 11-2, drawn one after being 2-0 up against a team in freefall (Wolves have lost 8, drawn 2 in which time they conceded 29 and scored 7 i.e. -22 GD), and you have recently narrowly beaten Norwich. That quality is really shining through pal.
Spot on, I love Campbell but last night he was terrible, gave the ball away, looked off the pace and was generally just not with it. It was a bad performance all round, only really Bardo & McClean played alright. Bendtner did well but was in the wrong position because others were not doing their jobs.
Are we expecting too much? I'm expecting that we win more games than we lose and under Martin O'Neill, that is exactly what we are doing. Aslong as we win more games than we lose I believe that most of the fans will be happy. Not so long ago we had Steve Bruce as the manager of our club and we were losing more games than we were winning. According to Steve Bruce, we were expecting too much. The players at Sunderland arn't robots and invariably we will have an off day once in a while. We also have one eye or perhaps two eyes trained upon the FA Cup. Do you feel happy that your expectations are being reached aslong as we win more games than we lose? Or do you demand more? Is it unrealistic or out of tune to expect that we play excellent each and every single game? What are you expecting Syd?
Heated debate, a lively board, people having their say and most have my posts have that aim, I love it when they work. Oh, and I always expect us to win.
It's an interesting theory but certainly flawed. Blackburn home QPR away Boro home and away Liverpool home Stoke away
