I do know that Wolverhampton(9 apps - 1 goal) had an Austrian striker called Stefan Maierhofer who is almost 7 feet tall in there PL seasons of 2009-11. He is a free agent at the moment.
Maierhofer is a total ****ing giant and not a bad player IMO if he's a free agent we should definitely look at him.
Came off the bench when Notts County were 0 - 4 down @ home to Sheffield utd aftef the hour mark. The last 30 mins County won 2-1.!! But yes he is best off at that level and has a chance of a Wembley appearance and promotion medal.
He's nearly 30 and was sidelined for seven months with a hernia which is a worry, looks like he is a consistent scorer and technically OK, must be worth a trial to see where he's at but wouldn't pay him over the odds for wages.
Done some more digging and he actually signed a 2 year deal with Red Bull Salzburg in august 2011 but has only made 2 apps so far But scored a goal. SM is 6ft 7and qtr inches tall. How many of these giants are there out there if its not him ?
He is 29 and turns 30 in august. Now IF it is him and we do get him and he does the trick it will be money well spent. I remember him giving Chris Samba a hard time when wolvers played blackburn at that time.
