    If you read the sky sports quotes he says that he wont be rushing himself and will be taking it step by step and doesn't know if he'll play or not, and even if he does play Pardew wont give him much game time this season I wouldn't have thought.

    Still great news though, dying to see what this boy can do.

    What I have seen of him I've liked. Skilful, quick thinking, reads the game game well, and he's also a great team man who's always ready to bring others into play.

    Seems to put in the kind of pacey looking crosses that are just begging to be attacked by strikers aswell, reckon we would see demba score more with his head with Marv on the wing, either side.

    With Saylor and Colo we'd have conceded fewer goals, and with Marveaux providing the ammunition to fire we'd have scored more.

    Things would have been even rosier than they are at the moment. Still good things ahead though.

    Quality player but I have a feeling he'll turn out to be one of those we never get right. Hope I'm wrong because there is undoubted ability and we'd have some great creativity in our ranks with him and Benni. He has had surgery before so I suppose we shouldn't really expect it to cure the problem, but we're ridiculous optimists!

    His appearance would be a massive boost given our current injury woes.
