The gayest band ever

Sorry about two pointless articles in about 5 minutes but this had to be shown.
This is always on the music channels on sky and it ****ing annoys the **** out of me.

I can't express in words how talentless, gay and **** this band is. No originality, no creativity and as much talent as the **** i took this morning.

I can't believe people like this. And i also can't believe two of the members are from the north east!

 

I think my Granny would say that this is just noise.

Think I'd have to agree.

 

Theres not been a good band since the early noughties. Dont expect any soon.

 

This song ranks as No. 5 in my iPod's most played. The top 25 has 7 more of their songs in... I ****ing Asking Alexandria!!!

[rant]Oh, and about 'originality', point me to a new band that is genuinely original? These are different, as they have massive metalcore influence, they have a lot of synth aspects, they have singing, screaming and roaring (not a massive fan of the latter).

As for talentless, you play that. You sing/scream/roar all of that. You write that. No? So a hell of a lot more talented than you then?

Just because you don't like something doesn't give you the god given right to come on a public forum and call it worse than ****. Fair enough, if i'd posted this and said i love it, you could retort and say

But calling them talentless and such is well wide of the mark. I ****ing hate Leona Lewis, but she must have some talent because she sells and **** loads of people like her!

BTW lad, i have edited my post above with a bit of reasoning.

The majority of my fav bands are Metalcore. Personally I'm glad we are all different.

 

Can't believe you'd like a good metal band like Pantera, who are the definition of headbanging, and listen to those ***gots who's music has no hint of originality

I also dislike Leona Lewis, although only for adding to the ****ness that was FFXIII. But I also hate the argument that because someone sells lots of records they're talented.

 

Thing is, you can be the best basketball player in the world, but if no-one in the world likes basketball it's not really talent is it? It's only when people appreciate what you have it becomes talent, ergo, if you sell **** loads, **** loads of people like it, talent.

 

But talent doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with sales. An artist isn't the most talented because they sell the most records. In most cases they have just had the best marketing team and advertising budget behind them. More talented artists with better material are often overlooked because their songs don't get the same exposure.

 

Interesting take on what talent is, I class talent as having an innate ability far exceeding that of the vast majority of people. You don't need to have publicity and be all over mainstream media to become talented, that's more to do with exposure to a large number of people who like what you do / your product. Using your logic JK Rowling is the most talented writer in the world.

 

No i will not just say it;s not my cup of tea, because even though i admit i couldn't make that screaming noise, the instrumental side of this music isn't creative, not original and took no talent to make.

The riffs are extremely similar if not exactly the same to about 1000 other metalcore songs, and takes no effort to create at all.

I don't like Leona Lewis but you can't compare her to metal bands, and she has more talent than all of those ***gots in that band put together.

I'll bash them because they're basically another fabricated band so that scene kids can feel they belong to something. They're as bad as the ****ing Jonas Brothers.

You can like those ****ing emo kids all you want, and make up as much bullshit arguements as you can think of, but their music, as i've said, take's as much talent to create as taking a string of ****.

There are some metal core bands that are technically gifted which i will give credit to like Atreyu. I don't like Atreyu but i can admit atleast the guitarists are talented, but AA aren't.

 

The thing is Tash there are very few truly original artists out there. If you have been around long enough listening to music like me it is very rare to hear something and not think they sound like somebody else you listened to years ago. You could tell me your favourite bands and I could probably slag them off for being pale imitations of older bands as well (although I don't like metal so I might struggle in your particular case ).

What I'm trying to say is; you don't like them and that is fair enough, but don't be so quick to give harsh judgement on another persons preferences. You are starting to sound like the crazy Christian woman you were feeling offended by yesterday.
