Can't stand ITV, they are all utter idiots and Andy Townsend, in particular, is a mug.

Can't say I've ever noticed any Newcastle bias but then again, it's quite hard to hear them with the sound off :D

Another bell end comment from one of the biggest bitter, jealous bell ends on this forum.

Chapped Arse, remind us all again how your FA Cup campaign is going this season:cool:

Bearing in mind that every Sunderland game in this seasons FA Cup has been broadcast live on national TV, I'd say the media does find Sunderland very interesting.

Like when ITV had Barry Fry, the P'boro director of football in the 'studio', or when Keane and the rest of panel decided we lost at Goodison after the semi-final draw on Sunday?

They often have a representative from the minnows at hand to share their view on events during the FA Cup. ITV had a reporter interviewing Gary Smith of Stevenage Borough on the touchline during the game against Tottenham Hotspur and I thought that was a great piece of TV coverage. That wasn't bias against Tottenham Hotspur... we all like to hear what the little guy has to say about his experience and ITV came up with the goods.

In my life experience, the more a person or entity tries to bury another entity from having its rightful place in the spotlight, the more success that entity gradually reveals until such time those that attempt to manipulate the perception of others, are utterly embarrassed.

Interviews are one thing but that was something altogether different if you ask me. Plus Stevenage are hardly a long established Football League club either unlike Championship Peterborough.

I find it embarrassing when they do that. The guy really didn't have much to say, he was working, but may have felt that it was necessary not to say 'no' to ITV as his club are benefiting from the TV money.

I suppose thats another way to look at it, from the perspective of TV money. Personally, I enjoyed it.

Not as much as a Tottenham - Liverpool or a Tottenham - Everton final. ;)

Sounds good. I'd be delighted if we got to the final regardless but, no disrespect, I'd probably rather you guys than the other two.

Yes, but really, why would you want that? Would you want it because you think it's a genuinely good news story to report, or would you want it just out of principle because you're a Sunderland fan?

Your cup run has been mentioned after virtually every game you've had. I'm not sure what more you expect? There's nothing to really discuss, unless you want them to do MOTD style analysis' of your games, which they wouldn't do for any team full stop. It's been mentioned, everyone knows, so any further talk would simply be more talk for the sake of talking.

If the rest of the country is not interested in SAFC then why has ITV rearranged it schedule to include the replay next week?

Because ITV have the FA Cup rights and the game with Everton next week is the only FA Cup game happening?

Must be because there are only 6 teams left in it and 2 games to play?

Are we in the quarter finals or something? Lol

When do you play your quarter final then? Pratt.
