Whitts is far too valuable sitting in front of the back 4. That's not denigrating the very important role, but as well as there others who are better suited, Whitts gives us so much more sitting just behind his strikers rather than collecting and distributing from the back.

If McPhail is still not an option because of his suspect health, I'd even put Darcy in there to protect the back four - at least he can tackle and get stuck in even if his distribution is suspect. Bit like Oli last season - put his foot in but lacked the creative pass out of defence. As Malky's back four seem a fixture, Darcy may relish that role.
 
Gestede in for Mason.

I'd like a few changes but think Malky will go with just one.

I'd like to see Cowie rested for this one and Conway start.Would be nice to see a Ralls cameo to freshen things up late second half.
 
With everyone fit (Kiss is ill I think) I'd revert to a tried and tested starting XI

LL's not doing it for me tbh so him, Rudy and Mason to come on later to give Cov different problem though Kev needs to up his game if he's going to keep Darcy out for much longer
