Saying that, our midweek games do not usually bring out the best in our players. Who would be your starting XI? If we were to make it to the promised land next seasons, which players would be good enough to retain???
Morning Ellandback - Assuming we are not promoted I would make a reasonable effort to keep white but I wouldn't break the bank as we receive compensation if he goes. Webber and Brown I would keep the rest can all walk, mainly Mika, Forssell and Parker, I will be glad to see them leave and free up some valuable wages. If by a miracle we do scrape the playoffs and manage promotion allow all of them to leave, none would be good enough for a PL Leeds UTD team.
Morning Ristac,I like White, and lets face it, he is probably our only player with real pace, but his close control is not good. Whatever happens, I can see Warnock making lots of signings in the Summer

Cant really see a place for Bruce, although Warnock has started him when fit I think he will be ruthless enough to cut the deadwood & bring in his own players. Warnock has publicly praised Sam before & even tried to sign him so I think his future will be decided by how well he performs under Curle whilst on loan. I dont think Sam trains to well so it will be make or break under Curle who wont take no **** fitness wise.
Looks like I'm keeping and releasing Brown, White and Webber. Does that mean I can keep playing them but stop paying them? Happy days!

Alex Bruce - under Warnock may become the defender we were all hoping he would be. Question mark. Ben Parker - let go. Always too slow, runs like a penguin. Aidan White - ask him to sign up for one year, at good wages. Part of the one-year Warnock plan Mika Väyrynen - beeen out injured while Warnock been here. May be the best back up to Brown and Clayton, and may be much better under Warnock than Grayson (like many) Michael Brown - Part of the one-year Warnock plan, sign him up for a year Lloyd Sam - depends on how he does in his loan spell at County, getting some time on the pitch. Lacked confidence recently, a bit like Beckford did prior to loaning him out, but if we lose Snoddy and White and Sam in the Summer, we have a major rebuild that is unlikely to happen Mikael Forssell - let him go Danny Webber - Part of the one-year Warnock plan, sign him up for a year
JC, I agree with you regarding Vayrynen, has shown glimpses of class when he's played but hasn't had a long enough run to shake off the rustiness. Could be worth a one year contract as back up to Clayton and Brown. And thanks btw, I've been thinking what Parker's running style reminds me of. Think you've hit the nail on the head with the penguin comparison - classic! Finally, what's happened to Robbie Rogers? For all we know he could be a great winger but I don't think any of us have seen him play yet.
Pop on most days but when i show up most arent about m8... Yeah all good just about over me 3 day weekender up in Leeds.Had a fooking brilliant time.Just ashame we couldnt hold on.but hay thats footie for yurz. No point in moaning about it,It aint gonna change it. Take it on the chin..Were Leeds and can take it ...M.O.T..
David Healy was the classic penguin-runner, but he at least managed to do it with a modicum of speed and not a little talent when he could be bothered
Morning Elland. Tonight we need a convincing win to push up our GD, & keep morale on a high before harder games in due course. As to those with contracts expiring, I'd keep Burce, as he still has age on his side & can develop to be the CB we've been after. I think Parker will probably have to go. He didn't shine at Carlisle on loan & is too injury prone. Pity, but there we go. Aidy White should be given a long contract extension. Mika can go unless someone knows something I don't. Michael Brown, despite his years, appears to be the DM we've been looking for. So another 2 to 3 year extension. I'd retain Lloyd & Danny. Cant argue with any of that to be honest. LIE, Rogers took a smack to the head 7 minutes into his debut sub appearance for us and only got the all clear to start playing again a couple of weeks ago. Think he has played for the reserves since.
