It's interesting to see how Wayne Brown influenced the development of central defenders at Leicester - he had exactly the same effect at Hull City where his presence changed Michael Turner from a bit of a liability into one of the most effective central defenders in the Premier League. It was a great pity that Wayne's lack of pace was exposed by the top level strikers because his strength and positional play was top quality.
Shame he's a racist twat, too. Wayne Brown was possibly the best organiser of our defence since Matt Elliot. We've had some very good defenders since, too.
