I think it would be a bad move, even if the terms of the loan allowed it. First of all, I doubt very much if a player who is getting lots of starts and goals in the Premier League would want to come back to Southampton, and secondly, he would, I am sure, be a disruptive influence.

We badly need someone who can cover our injured players, both a centre mid and a winger now, but we don't need Puncheon!

It's certainly a tough decision - I'm undecided! , so thought I would see what you guys would think!

    Part of me thinks:

    - He a winge bag and could unsettle to the team , and perform ****e as he has done when he puts a Saints Top on... then again
    - He is our player after all, so should we give him 1 more chance and get behind him

Hmmmm tough! .. Wouldn't like to be NA this morning / coming days!

    Is he worth the risk???????

Definitely not. Even if Lallana and Oxo are out for a while, anyone in the loan market who maybe is not getting a game for their club is likely to show more desire than Punch.

Also, judging by Adkins' comments on the (lack of a) possibility of bringing Punch back, it would do nothing but disrupt the squad.

Listen to Adkins Solent interview and he says a big NO to sulky coming back, think that interview says it all really.

Just get a couple of loanees in that want to play and help the club anyday, as opposed to sulky coming back thinking its beneath him to be back playing league 1 footie when he could be playing in the Premiership. He'd be throwing everything out of the pram not just his dummy!!

So taking all into consideration, an emphatic NO from me!!!

If we had no alternative i dont see why we shouldnt. I really dont know if to believe media and his comments reg us or not.

However id far prefer injuries to be s/term or replace with someone else.... Brian Howard????

Definitely not. Depth is important, but so are professionalism and morale. We're better off without him.

I liked Puncheon and thought some fans were very harsh on him, but I trust NA. He said an emphatic no way, so he either has a personal problem with him and/or finds him disruptive. In that case, my answer is no.

He is a really good player, But as many of you may see, There must be a reason behind him going out on loan.

    NO NO NO NO NO.

No way, he burnt his bridges last time he was here and for me disrupting the team because we need a winger is not worth bringing him back.

Apart from which we need to see N'Guessan or Forte turn in a good display so we can see why they were brought here.

No from me - He's a disruptive influence who is desperate for a move to another club, he's not going to risk injuring himself, and from all the interest won't be short of offers regardless of how he performs so I'm glad he didn't come back.

Well at least we know what is happening now with the loan window closed. Now we can start to concentrate on what we have.
