A quick Sunderland just about deserved to be still in the cup but it wont be easy in replay, THEN Newcastle tea lady saw game, Newcastle not playing well but still winning, goal, back to tea lady, SBR liked coffee with one sugar, she enjoyed the game, oh and Newcastle still winning. Mind dont you dare say they are biased, over to Dawn on BBC for real bias.
They are just ran by a bunch of sad black and white twats, who like the majority of their fans, find themselves feeling bitter and twisted that we have the chance of actually winning something. Why can't they just enjoy the referee assisted league success they have enjoyed this season rather than worry about what we are doing I just don't know...
You people just make me sick, no wonder we get a bad reputation and i honestly, genuinely, truthfully, cross my heart and hope to die, can't beleive that you would think that ITV are biased. Just cos it used to be called Tyne Tees, i mean really, how can you seriously deduce that they are biased towards us?
Thing is jeff brown is a die hard sunderland fan yet seems well able to keep his neutral professional head on during the show. I actually think its funny as **** now though to see how far they (BBC & ITV) in not talking about our cup run. Bet if we do get to the semi or the final, it will be discussed after some random 5 minute video of sheep worrying on the northumberland borders. Who cares anyway, we know we are the best, whilst they have to keep convincing themselves every day.
Marty can do our talking for us now these days, both on and off the pitch. The biased media, all based in Newcastle, can try all they want but we are capturing more and more national headlines despite them. Like I said earlier, its funny as **** to see that black & white slag Thewlis on the BBC and the craa scumbags over on Tyne Tees squirm and slime their way around our cup run. It must be killing them. Lol
I’m glad I don’t have to watch it each night. One a week back was enough!! How hard is it to give due credit when a team is performing when your supposed to be an informed commentator. Obviously VERY from the sounds of it.
Don't watch it, havent watched MOTD either for ages. I have a deep dislike for the BBC and the way public money is squandered by the idiots who run it.
Why would either the ITV or BBC go on about your cup run? Why would they go on about us if we had a good run? Did they mention much about Stoke? or Birmingham in the CC? Or Bolton (pre-Muamba)? The truth hurts, but here goes: No one cares about your club as much as you do as a fan. Outside the mackem bubble, people see it no differently to how far Birmingham, Bolton or Stoke progressed in recent times. No doubt you'll get more coverage if you make the final, but really, at this stage, there's only so much the media can say about it, isn't there? You say 'how far they don't talk about your cup run' but what is there to talk about from a neutral perspective? Would you just like the reporters to sit there and go over your results or something? Or generally bask in Sunderland's FA Cup run glow? You've beat Peterborough, Middlesbrough, Arsenal and drawn with Everton. Big whoop. You're welcome to be as happy and excited as you like, just don't expect the neutral media to find a quarter final appearance in the FA Cup as interesting as you do.
Oh dear chaps, the truth certainly does hurt and it would seem the truth is you are hurting, like the highlighted bit BTW. Good to see you pop back for one of your neutral comments
Suprised they never picked up on this.. Ex Mag mega star...Shefki Kuqi now aged about 94 years old is still scoring and scoring belters... Pick that one out.
Your point might carry some credibility if we were talking about the BBC in general, however the points made wre relating to the North East version of both BBC and ITV, with reporters from the north east. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to mention a decent cup run? it's not every season that any North east team get to the quarter finals.
