In response to an article on Indy R's. @Sandyhoops I have read the article u have posted. I understand ur frustrations but is constant negativity the answer? @Sandyhoops this football club is finally heading in the right direction. We need everyone to pull together in the short term. We need fans @Sandyhoops not people that want to come and shout abuse. That is not a fan. We have to unite as one, otherwise fragmented we will fail.... @Sandyhoops please just come and support OUR team. Its what REAL fans do. They don't turn on their team at the 1st sign of trouble. @Sandyhoops all QPR fans, come to the training ground. Its free to watch us train. See for urselves how hard all the team r working. @Hoopstilidie I know that. Majority of the fans have been great. But there are a few bad apples at the minute. Trust me we all care. @mavqpr no its not its a shocking article. Its points out a lot of negative stuff but I didn't hear 1 remedy. If that's what it takes, to unite the players and fans. Then let's get it on as soon as possible. With patience this club will achieve... Let all the negativity stop. Let's stop this them and us mentality. I'm sick of it. We must come together. Good night people. https://twitter.com/#!/Joey7Barton
I make Joey right, this is exactly what all Rangers fans will do. Especially this coming Wednesday. C'mon Rangers, unity is strength.
I always wondered that. If he was on here who do you think he would be? I'll go for TBGWTDT aka Frank Jesus.
Flyer. TBF not much love for him on here is there? I do go back to when we bought him. A lot of the Geordies posting on here said they didn't warm to him at first but he won them round eventually. I thought then (and still do) that he's a good player and hope he'll come good for us.
Well put. If he didn't give a **** he wouldn't interact in this way, good on him. Looking forward to wednesday nines, should be a cracking atmosphere, Chelsea-esque would be brill! If he's on here I would put my money on either CB or Bob
I think if we do stay up we will see a new Joey Barton next year. I think people forget the guy has just moved to London and has recently become a father. It was always going to take time for him to settle.
What I've seen from Joey on the playing side is a lot of effort and a lot of over-ambitious passes that haven't come off. Not much different to most of the rest of the team in that respect. Symptom of ungelled team imo... can only improve with time. As for leadership. sadly lacking and needs educating in what inspires players to up performances mid-match. On balance though, much prefer his presence in the team than not.
It's probably his wife took the phone out of his hand for the night and dished out them messages to try to bring some peace to her family It doesn't sound like him at all, sounds like a WAG
Ok Flanman, I apologise. But maybe he has read DT's post and has taken some inspiration to take the pathway that is redemption.
Sorry.....I don't buy it!! Talk is cheep! I've seen nothing to convince me that Barton gives a toss about this club!! He runs a lot, but when it is really important to run back and stay with runners, he comes up short....literally! And he has no physical presence at all. That side of his game has disappeared with his "new image".
If Barton does read these forums we should make the most of it... LET BUZSAKY TAKE THE SET PIECES! PLEASE! Let Hill or Derry take them for all I care just dont take them yourself anymore. Apart from that hugs and kisses. Hope your sons doing well.
Col, I agree with what you say, he has been a major disappointment. When we lose, I get depressed and it shows in some of my posts on here. But Joey's right, of course, we all need to be behind the team on matchdays and, from what I see at Loftus Road and read on here, us fans can turn it on when we need to. I would love Joey to settle in and deliver what he is truly capable of but which, personally, I have only seen in patches.
Here's a good read from LoftForWords: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/fb_news.php?storyid=16419&title=twitter_rants,_train_station_confrontations_and_revolting_fans "I do think we’re entitled to certain things from our players. Commitment to the cause for example, which I do believe is lacking despite the modern trend of saying that footballers do all care passionately about their work regardless of what supporters think. For Joey Barton to be repeatedly Tweeting about his “tidy Saturday night” hours after the home defeat to Fulham backs my viewpoint. He has thankfully since engaged with QPR fans in a more positive way and assured them that the players really are doing everything they can. I don’t believe him, but I preferred hearing that to his horse racing tips. Do I expect them to live like monks? No. Do I expect them to train nine to five every day? No. Do I expect them to hurt as much as I do when we lose at home to Fulham? No. Do I expect them to spend all their spare time sitting in a dark room considering how they can improve themselves as players and men? No. But I expect more than I’m getting from them now which currently seems to be mediocre performances followed by a week of sycophantic articles about righting the wrongs mixed with Tweets about afternoons of golf and horse racing. I don’t think that’s a lot to ask for."
Ladies and Gents...post of the wek has already been decided....the rest is all for fun.... Very welll said my friend.....
