    To think they say flat racing has no enduring stories, Borderlescott returns to the track this weekend as a 10 year old and does so on the back of a hairline fracture he picked up last season. That horse is some story.

    KOWLOON 5/00 Exeter tomorrow. Only 2-1 but his run behind Velator suggests he should hose up. The third is a winner since!

    In the Foxhunters Barbers Shop had the misfortune of losing a cheekpiece at the half way point of the race. Never heard of that happening before and it obviously must have unsettled the old boy. Had that not occured who knows what might have happened...
