Charlie Adam is championship. If you play him you will lose alot of games. Time to cut your losses on the lad.
I'm starting to think that no Arsenal forum exists given how much you post here... Adam can stay dropped until he finally realises that he needs to up his game and it's about the right pass, not the headline pass.
I simply cannot understand how this guy has dropped his head and played so badly. Look he's a ball watched and awful positionall but if he'd even just work on delivering the quality he did deliver at blackpool from set plays.... he'd be in the team! I simpyl cannot beleive how awful he is at tackling, and his frees and corners not to mention pens are abysmal. The only thing adam has going for him as it stands is really good heading ability. He's really good at that but god thats not all that vital is it?
I think hes a good squad player but he can only play if he is playing alongside Spearing/Lucas. He can't tackle and his positioning isn't great. When him and Gerrard play together it's suicide as neither of them are disciplined enough to defend - just watch the 2 goals Bolton scored against us a month or so ago. Giving him a free role in the middle with Spearing and or Lucas behind him then he and the team would perform better I think. The thing that worries me is the free kicks / corners he's taken this year have been terrible. Don't understand how taking a corner at Blackpool & then at Liverpool can be so different!
I think Adam was doing ok until Lucas got injured but hes been awful the last few games and I cant help thinking back and laughing at Ian Holloway saying that Liverpool would be replacing Alonso if they signed Charlie Adam. His corners are worth ten million too so we should cash in now and make some profit on him
