Racing today comes from Southwell, Kempton and Limerick.

The first at Southwell looks a nice little race on paper. The two chasers Night In Milan and King Jack can get the better of the hurdler, the well named Cock Of The Rock who is stepping out over the big stuff for the first time. I'll stick with those who have already had a taste. I can't split the favourite Night In Milan and King Jack, so I'll go for the value and select King Jack.

14:30 Southwell. King Jack. cyc. WON 11-4.
14:30 Southwell. Sum Laff. stlegerrover.
14:40 Limerick. Tango Moll. cyc. THIRD 10-1.
15:10 Limerick. Drive On Locky. TopClass.
15:30 Southwell. Ringa Bay. TopClass. WON 4-1.
15:30 Southwell. Teddy's Reflection. George.
15:40 Limerick. Immediate Response. Oddy. WON 11-10.
15:50 Kempton. Woop Woop. stlegerrover.SECOND 6-1.
16:40 Limerick. Band Of Blood. Oddy. THIRD 5-2.
17:00 Southwell. Emperors Choice. Red. WON 11-8.
17:20 Kempton. The Absent Mare. Ron. SECOND 11-4.
17:30 Southwell. Tekthelot. Jongleur. SECOND 3-1.

An all time great.

Morning Cyc <ok>

Pretty desperate racing today, but a couple at Limerick look worthy of interest:

3.40 Immediate Response - hardly original but Willie Mullins gelding has won his first 2 starts after an almighty lay-off of two and a half years. His last victory has also been well franked with the runner-up, Owennacurra Milan, having won his next 2 starts.

4.40 Band Of Blood - p2p winner who makes his appearance under rules today and with Nina doing the steering he can get the better of the Mullins hotpot.

Good morning all... Blue Monday, now that brings back memories... A New Order song of the 80's that was a huge hit in the clubs at the time... Long gone now are my clubbing days i just pick the little pi** heads up now and take em home...!!!

Glorious day outside but its still not the best day for the racing... but what will be after last week... Just on first glance nowt jumps out at me but after further inspection i may find one or two to play on..

Back in a bit...<ok>

17:30 Southwell - Tekthelot

(Promising sort who will take all the beating if fully wound-up after a 237-day absence. Therefore, a watch on the market would be the best way to go?).

snorefest for me today, no bets as one might expect. Interestingly I see that the Doncaster Lincoln meeting is but a couple of weeks away. I am getting rather excited to see horses running really fast again <laugh>

The Absent Mare (5.20 Kempton) looks good to me at 10/3. But on my current form that probably means it will be tailed off.

Nass are you going to be focusing on 2YO maidens again this year? Some nice winners came out of that last year I recall <ok>

Indeed I am focusing on the 2YO heats in general, been doing some homework over the past couple of days and I think we are in for a good year of juvenile racing.

Morning, people. Hope everyone well.

Although its a 'no bet' from yours truly today and the banner is blowing in the old wind don't forget that a 5/1 winner today pays the same as a 5/1 winner did last week at Cheltenham. Something to always remember that.

Meanwhile, if you lost at Cheltenham don’t despair as dear old ‘Giddy’ Osborne is sure to provide everyone with plenty of ‘winners’ on Wednesday.

Afternoon all

First time posting on here, used to be a member of 606 but due to that shutting and all other websites being banned at work, i have been off the grid for a while. Nice to see some of the old names!

Right today

SUM LAFF - 14.30 Southwell bled last time won on a mark higher than this over hurdles - not one for high stakes but in a field of 5 i think 10/1 is worth a small investment!

Woop Woop - 15.50 Kempton In good form recent, denied by the winner last time who is now rated 15 pounds higher! should go close! Hopefully

3.30 Southwell: Ringa Bay 4/1 (2 pts win)

The York team seem decent at getting horses ready for these sort of events and this has been fairly prolific in point to points. He was a well backed 11/10 favourite, making menacing headway when travelling strongly, before falling at the 11th fence. There are two hoprses with decent ability in this field today, so this is tougher, but this time we get a fairer price at 4/1 and as yesterday with Go All The Way, looks the 2 point bet on the 5 point scale.

3.10 Limerick: Drive On Locky 10/1 1pt e/w

Fenton can get these ready and its a really weak maiden hurdle. Will stay 3m eventually so 2m 3f on heavy should be a pretty nice introduction. Could be quite a big price I felt. Dazzlers Day is the other newcomer but he's going the wrong way in the market and at least Fenton has booked a proper jockey.
