York's nearly an hour away, it would be like us coming to your place, then deciding to spend the night in Bognor Regis.
Not quite but they were very nice before the game down there and very complementary towards us after the game and the way we played them. At that time Saints were on a real roll and were playing most teams off there pitch. That changed in that game. But for Butter Fingers Gulacsi who handed them 2 soft goals.
Oh yes. Most of my best hangovers have been from nights out in York. Great choice of pubs. Just curious to know mate, but whats the news on Billy Sharp and why he does not start with Lambert up front ? BS appears to be a bench warmer at the moment.
He hasn't had the greatest of starts and with Lambert and our new Jap player Lee combining well it has seen Sharp have to wait for his opportunity. I've had a few good nights in York, and day drinking sessions come to think of it.
Ok cheers for that. Yes i miss York City not being in the football league. Had many day / night sessions in York. Many a summers weekend spent there many moons ago when beer was less that a £1 a pint. Oh yes, happy days for sure.
Well done Hull good game between two good teams. Shame about the pitch it looked like ****e, but that's what you get letting egg chasers use it. Liked your stadium thought it looked nice. Cairney and King were good for you tonight. Good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully you will come up by the playoff's. Beating West Ham in the final
You're right about the pitch and it has hindered us. I would agree that Cairney & King were our best players. I can see why Southampton are top of the league, very efficient team with Lallana pulling the strings. Think you should make the top two All the best
not panicking - yet! thought we equaled the best team in the league in all areas but one and they needed help with that one! still its not all doom and gloom. Birmingham got stuffed by Pompey, Reading lost at Peterborough, and West Ham / Boro drew. Statistically we still have one of the easiest, if not the easiest, run-in. And what was that score at Elland Road? Forest got how many? And before last night they were one team that had scored less than us this season.
Indeed. Agree. I came away from last nights game happy actually. TWS must have been dire not only to loose but to loose 3-7 to Forest of all teams. As for our game,,, same old story. Missed chances cost games. But in saying that Saints should have been 4-0 up within 20mins. Stiill all the resuilts went for us bar one and its still wide open for 2nd and play-offs. My mood got better when i heard whinger Sam Allardyce bemoaning another 1-1 home draw. Oh dear how sad. Would love it Just love it if on Saturday 28th April we denied the Hammers even a play off spot. Good luck to the Saints there almost there now. 4 more wins should secure both promotion and the title.
Good luck saints but why on earth did that pair of mentally incapacitated mongrels travel ALL that way to run on the pitch and get banned from future games for a year or two? Imbeciles
I know you're the eternal optimist, but how you could leave a game happy, after we were convincingly beaten 2-0, is beyond me.
Most things are beyond you even to tweet the correct starting line up. The news from bellend road for starters and then to hear other results. Yes we lost but not much damage done overall. Saints are now almost up and we need them to kick on and win there games at Blackpool and Middlesboro and Reading at home which not only helps them it also helps Hull City. Hearing many moan and groan leaving the game they will be on suicide watch today. Hope thats clear enough for you olm.
