The commentator also said that Pogba was coming on, we now have something to talk about.

Quite possible he was exaggerating for effect.

 

I like what I see from his game, saw a hint of nerves, loved it when Welbeck let him have that shooting opportunity.

I read that contract talks are still ongoing so perhaps Fergie thinks that if he starts playing him in the senior team then it might encourage him to stay.

Sounds similar to the rooney situation when he threatened to leave. Fergie **** one and offered him a huge contract. This time one of his young prospects threatens to quit and fergie throws him on the bench a few times when he probably wouldn't have been put on had he not cried, and offers him more money. I hate the modern footballer.

For the record, he looked kinda **** against Bilbao but then again, they were top drawer that night and he's young. I hope he develops into an average player for you

 

Not really, he'd been appearing on the bench regularly before anyone suggested he had decided to leave and when those story's did surface Fergie dropped him for a few weeks and even had him training on his own. Now he's back in the squad which suggests there has been some positive movement behind the scenes.

Bloody hell Shwan, saying you want someone to have an average career is not the same as saying you want their career to be ruined mate.

I want all LFC players to have average careers ( so far they aren't disappointing ) but that doesn't mean I want their careers ruining.

If we carry on like that we will end up and touchy as some of the posters on the LFC board
