Good Morning All, A 1-1 draw at home against West Ham, was that a point gained, or 2 dropped. Before the game, I probably would have settled for a draw, but taking the lead with seven minutes to go, you'd think we could hold on. The emergency transfer window shuts on Thursday, do we need toi make any signings, or should we hang on til the Summer? What is everyone's opinion on Connelly, is he capable of being our first choice right back, or do we look elsewhere? Danny Pugh has not really been used by Warnock, is that £500,000 down the drain??? I think Connolly had his best game for us in a long time yesterday. Tom Lees needs a experienced good defensive partner and we will be solid Sign Robinson, id keep pugh (versatile and a great professional) we need another quality CM id try and sign that Jonny Howson from Norwich he looks decent sign a goalkeeper, striker and right back then we will be looking good but I said pretty much the same in August but Grayson/Bates have wasted a year (conveniently the last year that if promoted we owe £5million)
Good morning - When we signed Pugh and news broke that it was £500k I made a post somewhere that it was the biggest waste of money we have spent in a long time. While I have always stuck up for Grayson he does want a bollocking for that one. Two points dropped for sure, you must win home matches and as for tomorrow, same again, I wouldn't make any changes. Personally I wouldn't keep Pugh, you need to ask if bringing him off the bench would make a positive impact on the team? He isn't a Brown or Robinson, yes he could cover for both but do we need a £500k player sitting on the bench for a 'what if'...
Ristac, Once Pugh signed for us his value dropped considerably, I think hes a decent squad player who I wouldnt have on the bench but id have them in reserves in case of injury.
I thought the new agreement, not the cva, meant It's not until 2017 that the commitment to repay creditors runs out and I think it is 10m.
Im not too sure about the new agreement, but £5million is owed to the inland revenue I think if we get promoted this year. Either way their are motives for us not to get promoted this year and Bates is a crook.

Morning all, with regards to Pugh I'd rather see him at CB than O'Dea. I know he's never played there but he could quickly learn the role. He's just as tall, is more mobile, and is a better passer and tackler, and we wouldn't have a £500,000 player sitting on the bench. Alternatively, move Robinson to CB alongside Lees and stick Pugh at LB.
I was never a Pugh fan. He had a few good games for us on the wing at the beginning, but a winger without pace, it like a goalie without hands.... Love the passion Brown and Robbo bought on Saturday, get stuck in...
Buenos dias. Pugh can play fine in central midfield, and even if we do extend Brown and Clayton's contracts, they'll need competition and back-up. For a ~£250k initial fee, that's not too bad.

LIE I wouldnt imagine Warnock would drop Odea or White. Odea is bad but I much prefer Robbo at left back than Pugh, also white had decent game on Saturday.
