I have a dream - a dream where Arsenal finish 3rd and Spurs 4th. Then on the last day of the season - the CL - Chelsea win it on penalties, and qualify in place of Spurs.
My dream is quite vivid - it involves seeing the Spurs fans faces twisted in agony as John Terry slots home the winning penalty.
Quite. Can't we all just hope that Chelsea and Spurs implode in spectacular style thus ending up with nowt? Or, should Jayram's scenario have to take place, can JTs knob please fall off as he takes his penalty?
This is what I want. Us come 3rd and the spuds and chavs continue to implode and newcastle end up 4th
A lot of us thought you were a closet Spurs fan. Now we know where your loyalties lie, and it aint Arsenal!
Allot of the time we have our doubts that Jayram actually supports Arsenal, however to suggest he is a Spurs fan is a bit harsh I wouldn't wish that on him!
We can count on Arsene to bottle it anyway. They are weak mentally so one little incident can Arsenal into freefall and AW is not a good enough man-manager to stop the choking
Yeh we keep choking when going for the top 4. I agree. If only we didnt have players who choke. If only we didnt have players who miss penalties to win the champions league and they cry like a baby. O wait...
I actually don't get this thread. What does it mean ? 3 wins and 2 draws for what ? What piece of the puzzle am I missing ? London's finest, I don't think you need to worry about Arsenal bottling a thing this season. We had the worst start of a season for 58 years but are now 4th. We had a mini crisis during the period we lost to Sunderland and Milan, but bounced back and began winning. We have won 4 games on the spin after going a goal down in the games. If that tells you anything its that we are battlers .. not bottlers
ffs change the record We know you had a bad start what with injuries etc etc and credit to Arsenal for pulling back such a big gap. I'm not trying to cause argument here but you have won nothing for the last 7 seasons, you cannot question people on calling you bottlers, as you always seem to fall behind towards the latter part of the season (again, that isn't a dig at you, it's just a fact). We have been ****e this season and most Chelsea fans have been humble about it but we've every right to be happy that we're still in the FA Cup, Champions League AND the race for 4th (we certainly can't be out of it). I've seen comments on this board over the past few months that completely contradict the ones being spouted now (for example, you are now the best team in the league ) I'm not saying Arsenal are bad by any means but save all this trash talk for when we play you at the Emirates - that will be a very important game for both of us .
If winning four games on the bounce (scoring 12 conceding 3) is continuing to imlode then stone me, nobody has a hope.
