Hull City vs Southampton 19:45 Tuesday 20th March 2012. Last game: Millwall 2-3 SOUTHAMPTON, Super Rickie bagged another Hat-Trick, a good win given the circumstances and could be vital come end of season. My Predicted Team: Davis Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox, Guly, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana Sharp, Lambert Subs: Martin, Hammond, De Ridder, Puncheon, Chappers. Prediction: Hull City 0-4 SOUTHAMPTON Lambert x2, Sharp, Spiderman Saints need to keep up the good work from the last couple of games and maybe need a big score line to settle nerves, winning rough is brilliant but I'm sure we would all like a nice comfortable game with Saints goals galore and no squeaky bum times!
This is far too close to call for me, and 4-0 to Saints is just hopeful! There is only gonna be one goal in this one, so just to stay positive, 1-0 Saints, Lallana scoring
Any win is a good win, but Bazzra is right, we need a display more like the beginning of the season. A nice 2.0 win with two good goals would do nicely. Hull have had 4 draws and a win in last five, so are hard to beat. We have had 4 wins and a draw, but have had a couple of very difficult games. Once again I'm hoping for an early goal as that usually means that we win...though we left that late on Saturday!!! Winning ugly may win you titles, but there's nothing wrong with a beautiful one, lads.
Sorry guys, but I'm going for 1-1, BUT with Reading and West Ham dropping points swell. Hull are very hard to beat, eve though they have a squad that doesn't look good on paper.
We are going to the team with the best defensive record, but they are hosting the leaders and top scorers in the league. Somethings got to give. 3 NIL TO THE SAINTS. C.O.Y.R.
This one points toward a draw and I have my pessimistic head on after the dramatic success of Saturday. I sadly can't see us winning this one and Hull might sneak it. Plus West Ham & Reading both should win.
My XI: Guly Guly, Guly, Guly, Guly Guly, Guly, Guly, Guly Guly, Guly. I think this is the team nigel will go with.
We should out all the Guly haters. They should be ashamed. This guy is as crucial to our success as Adam, Rickie or Morgan.
A very difficult fixture tomorrow. We may drop from top spot and then listen to the NegHeads slag us off ..... but, no matter the league positions tomorrow night, it'll change again before the season's out.
Because our lead is only two points Reading can jump over us if we lose and they win. But with our GD, I'm sure we can regain the one point to jump over them again. Let's hope Reading don't carry on winning with big scorelines. As I told my Pompey-supporting brother, 'I so hate being second.'
Reading need to find a spanner...............& quick! Think we may well be on level points Tuesday night.
I've almost given up making predictions (but not quite) because if you looked at form Millwall shouldn't have had a chance. Hull have had a lot of draws and are way behind us, but we insist on trying to make a pig's ear of everything. Have a bad feeling, but then I expect Reading fans feel just the same. You never know who you are going to lose to.
1-1, and I won't be upset to take a point. This is probably our second most difficult fixture, after the Reading game...won't be disappointed if we're joint top with Reading about to embark on an extremely tough run of games.
You'll never put four past us, we're unbeaten in eleven, with the best defence in the league. I suspect it will be a draw, but that's really not good enough for us, we need to be winning our home games to stay in the play-off race, whoever we're playing.
We're unbeaten in 10 and have scored 18 goals, conceding just the 5 goals. In the last 10 games that you're unbeaten in, you've scored 10 goals and conceded just the 3. In no way am I saying we'll score 4, that's highly unlikely; but it's the best attack in the league vs the best defence, both teams NEED to win this game if they want to keep their promotion/title winning hopes alive, meaning that there will probably be a few mistakes here and there - so it's going to be an interesting one. I'll go for 2-1 Saints, Sharp and Lambert - Koren for Hull.
Very tough game, if we can get a win here it would be a massive result. I would be happy with a draw, to keep the unbeaten run going into Saturdays must win home game against Doncaster.
