Eddie, I've watched whole games and completely lost sight of Russell - sometimes a player will be quietly effective and unobtrusive - he simply disappears.

1-1 FT. Hmmm. Sounded like we suffered a bit there. Onwards and upwards but we seem a bit lifeless right now.

I have had that one down as a draw all season and, the way the other results went with United, Huddersfield and the Franchise all drawing as well, it is not too bad a day's work. I have reckoned we are promoted since end February. It would take two other teams to go on a great run to stop us and no-one looks like doing it. They all fallible.

What is more worrying is that after the Huddersfield win most of us were confident we could mount a challenge in the Championship next year with much the same team. That doesn't look on the cards now. Still, you never know ...

Well it's certainly a dodgy run compared to the rest if the season. A point today is better than nowt and the chasing pack don't seem to be able to sort out a decent run between them. Our gap to third has shrunk but no real harm done. If we blow it from 9 points clear and a decent goal difference I'll be surprised but we are certainly making it harder than it likes as though it would be a couple of weeks ago. We badly need a win Tuesday.

Down in Dartford, jimbob, posting on my Dad's dodgy mobile broadband so just occasional contributions for the next few days.

You're right though, it's been a bit muted on here - lots of people watching on some threads but few posting.

1 1 draw a point gained by all accounts its another point towards promotion and during our mini slump no one is really gaining on us...agreed thast we could do with 3 points tuesday though

Would suggest meeting up for a beer while you are in Dartford Tewks but sods law I'm away with work all next week. Not as fancy as stu's trip to south Africa I'm afraid. Just Solihull and Manchester. Missing Tuesday's game but that's probably a good thing at the moment!

Just got back from the game, parked in the retail park, had Pizza Hut straight after the game then clear drive home.

That was the highlights of my day, missed our goal, belive it or not due to traffic for the Hammers visit to Elland Road.

Was going to come on here and lambast the limp, lack luster display, but after listerning to the news from White Hart Lane all the way back. I don't care!

I will give you something later, not right now. Sorry but it really doesn't matter!

Lads, i'll see you in Primi Piatti in Camps Bay,Cape Town tonight at 8pm - beers are on me - ok? I would much rather prefer Wetherspoons in Dartford, but someone has to do the tough gig !

After a nights rest, my view on this is a point gained. Ignoring the recent losses, a pointaway is a point gained, and a team stuck in the relegation mire often come out fighting (apart from our Parky lead demise from the Championship). The rivals all dropped points bar the Massive, and the Blades draw with Tranmere was arguably a worse result than ours. Nine games left and nine points clear. we need three wins and a draw by my dodgy maths. This time of the season often throws up strange results, and maybe we've just had ours. We have now bought the losing streak to a close, and on tuesday, if we come out fighting, we can hope for three points. Game on, and honestly, I doubt that anyone behind us is worying about catching Charlton, even if we are a bit less unstoppable than we seemed after the Bournemouth game (thanks Blades fans, it DID jinx us!)

    The reds are going up!

I tend to agree Ken but only because the others are not taking advantage. A loss yesterday would have been a disaster. Win absolutely needed on Tuesday. By all accounts we weren't great yesterday. Some mojo needs to be recovered.

It's sealed boys, given the 9 point cushion as others stated - we only need three wins and a draw and allow 5 losses. Does anyone really think we are going to lose 5 in the run in ? No chance.

The thing is Oz that Yeovil has to be one of the three wins! They are one of the weakest teams we have yet to play in the run in.
