Ipswich Banter... Weaker than Darren O'Deas defending (Sweet memory of Holtys first goal against Ipswich at home last season)
What else can I say that hasn't already been said? Ipswich are a team barely clinging on to financial security and footballing relelvence? You know this, all of us do, it's not something I have to reinstate.
but thats it, your not doing anything? your just posting smiley faces as i tear into the suffolk based organisation you claim is a football club
There's a difference between losing and playing poorly. I thought we just about matched Newcastle, not bad for a side he will probably playing in Europe next season away from home!
I thought for the majority of the game we more than matched them. Krul got MOTM for a start. I was impressed with Howson and after 10 minutes running round like a headless chicken, Fox settled into the centre circle and we played some neat football. Surman seemed to want an extra touch and was greedy when both Morison and Pilkington were queuing up for a pass. Bennet was outstanding and if he had one more yard of pace would be a real menace. Pilkington was out of it to a certain degree but his touch is good. Guthrie and Cabaye were invisible after the early skirmishes and Ben Arfa got taken off. Up front we were woeful and I am running out of patience with Morison. He doesn't look happy, he can't control the ball and unless he's running the channels he hasn't too many uses.
