I read Liam Kellys [Killie] father took a heart attack after the final whistle, in fact some sites are saying he passed away. http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/170334-killie-players-dad-dies/ I dont know how much of this is true but it just goes to show, there are more important things than a football match. Thoughts are with them.
on the bbc http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-17423952 your right there is more important things. Doesn't say that he died though. Its been a strange few days in the football world
Heart attack and then treatment was beside the Killie dugout which was right next to celtic fans as well so could have seen at the game. Unfortunately appears that he has passed away. Puts everything into perspective.
Very sad indeed, apparently it put a real dent in Killie's celebrations and that really is a shame, they deserved to have a real party as it's the first time they've won the League Cup and for something as awful as this to happen really is a tragedy. Hopefully they will have a proper celebration at the end of the season
