    Hopefully this season was just a blip for us in Europe.

    In 2005 we finished bottom of our Champions League group (and 3rd in the Premiership) and we had a much weaker team than we do now but since then we've won 5 league titles and reached 3 Champions League finals.

    The question quite clearly asks what is the most successful club in the history of English football. Are you trying to claim that the CL and EL are English football competitions?

    If the question was meant to be what is the most successful club in the history of European football, then I believe the answer is Real Madrid <ok>

    Who do you expect is going to beat Barca or Real this season? And if you'd actually watched Bilbao play, you'd know they played better than any PL club have this season. We would have had to play at our best to beat them - we didn't play at our best so we lost.
