Next 3 away games

Tickets on sale for Blackpool and Liverpool today, as well as Villa tickets going on sale a week or so ago.
Anyone going to any of them? Just booked Liverpool ones, only had funds to go to one of the three and think this'll be a hell of an atmosphere with Amy now plying his trade with the bin dippers.

Would've loved Villa, give them a push on their way down after last year.

All three are must win games, for different reasons, but realistically can see ourselves getting 4 points out of them.

0 off Blackpool
1 off Liverpool

Thoughts?

 

I'd take 4. More chance with getting a point against Blackpool than Liverpool.

 

You'd think, but it'd be typical of Newcastle to lose at Blackpool then get a decent result against Liverpool. We've not done as expected so far this season, losing at home to Blackpool, Stoke, Blackburn, Everton etc then beating Villa and Sunderland emphatically and Liverpool at home and good wins like Arsenal away.

 

I'd take 2.

Heck i reckon we'd even get a win vs Blackpool, they're attacking is brilliant but their defense is poor. Highest conceders in the league.

2 would be a plausable total.

 

Paid for my Villa ticket last week and I'll be going to Blackpool and Liverpool.

Villa should be the easiest of the three but I'm quite hopeful of taking points off all of them.

Might be near front for Liverpool then getting them early :\ When are you booking Liverpool AB? Also could you confirm if that coach company is still running for that game?

Would probably take 2, but be slightly disappointed as I believe we're capable of more.

 

I'll be on the phone tomorrow for the ticket and yes the coach company is still in business, travelled with them to Stoke.

No problems so far, gets us there and back safely. Picks up and drops off at Washington Services too, so that should be fine for you.

 

2 points for draws at Blackpool and Villa, though think we are capable of getting 7 with the right luck.

 

I can see us losing all 3, I'm ever the pessimist.

 

Quite possible, as the games against Blackpool and Villa could go either way and I'd expect us to lose at Liverpool.

As regards the next three away games my guess is one point! Draw at Blackpool with nothing from AV & Liverpool. That is why the games agst Wolves and Birmingham are must wins. I cannot see us getting anything out of Chelsea or MU.

I do not want to go into the West Brom match needing at least one or 3 points. Shirley, we will be safe by then, won't we?

And yeah, would not like to go into last game needing a result... don't think nerves could take it.

 

I thought I'd seen £41 for the tickets when the prices were first shown, just goes to show they're all getting in on the act knowing they'll sell no matter what price they charge. Used to be higher prices for Man Utd and Arsenal and now we're in the same bracket as them.
