    Reality is suicide is a sin in most religions

    At one time catholic suicides couldnt be buried on hallowed ground

    pleading to what? Like ST said, some people do it as it is "in fashion". Like some people who aren't religious have weddings at a church because it is traditional.

    done thing and all that

    which leads back to the question I posed in a way I think

    services for the dead are the done thing, maybe being anti gay is too

    For once I'll agree with Fan on this. Not so much with suicide, but definitely with gay church marriages. What a farce. Why would you want to partake in a religion that doesn't approve of what you are?

    I realise people do that, christmas is another example

    Its hypocricy IMO, If you dont believe in something then stand by your beliefs
