Cheers for that Stick. So she'll be the best bet of next years festival as well then by the sounds of it!! I thought seeing VLV running BB so close would have given them food for thought but obviously not!!

I agree Oddy, if both take there chance 25-1 the double would be some price on the day.....

Queen Mother Champion Chase Cyc <ok> you can get 6/4 best price with Sporting Bet - most firms have him 5/4 but Bet 365 got 4/5 <yikes>

I'm surprised anyone would be in a hurry to back anything for next years novice events and the performances of PC,AF and GC.

We still didn't know what race they were running in until the eleventh hour.Risky betting strategy.

Of the novices we saw, if you had your choice, which would you take home?

Putting the faith in old Alan Potts today and hoping Go All The Way will show some of his real ability. A staying on 4th in last years Champion Bumper, he held entries in both the Neptune and Albert Bartlett hurdles at the beginning of the season. His reappearance was his first ever run on a bog and he didnt get home. It's not so testing today and this time we get a much fairer price -4/1 is worth a small bet I should think.

The main concern is that I could probably have hurdled more fluently after 8 pints of Guinness, so he's got to improve, but there should be just that on his second start today. Hopefully a win here then on to contest a warmer race at Punchestown.

2 and a half miles ought to be right up his street.

2.35 Navan GO ALL THE WAY 4/1 (2pts win)
