http://www.clicklancashire.com/spor...ton-wanderers-midfielder-fabrice-muamba.html? According to reports Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba is a target for Stoke City. The People claims Potters boss Tony Pulis wants to lure midfield enforcer Muamba from FA Cup semi-final rivals Bolton Wanderers. Pulis is keen to land the England Under-21 regular in a ã5 million summer deal after making enquiries. Muamba has not been a regular starter of late in Owen Coyleââ¬â¢s team which has encouraged Pulis to consider a move. Someone on my Twitter who is an ex Scout is pretty good with this sort of info and he's confirmed that we are after him which is great to hear as I really rate Muamba, proper cage midfielder.
Agree with you there Sarge, I think he's a very good player. Like the rest of our midfield his touch and vision won't be splitting many defences open any time soon, but he's got a good engine and will certainly be an update on an ageing Delap.
Really surprised that Coyle doesn't seem to like playing him more often, this is certainly a surprise. Would be a cracking signing, tailor made for our centre midfield.
The same ex Scout bloke I follow on Twitter, and believe me his info is kosher, has also mentioned that we're interested in former Liverpool left back John-Arne Riise. Plus he says he's on ã45k a week when I asked if wages would be a problem. Since Carew is on ã52k a week and Huth is on similar I cannot imagine wages would be a problem.
I think Inverness lives in Kettering, Potts says in his profile that he lives in Newcastle-under-Lyme, not sure about the others.
