Of course not it effected all of the team to a point where we went on many many years to raise money ... The teams we played never knew him and didn't care one bit. You didn't know him... No problem whatsoever I will apologise to any brother on here who has been disgusted by my flippant comment which linked this Defoe thread to what has become the near death of the Bolton lad Sincere Apologies but I get heated when the Diana syndrome cuts in this country as I have stated of course it's shocking and sad and I didn't consider that when making this stupid comment I am sure I will make many more ... as at times they are made to provoke this wasn't the case here it's was flippant and stupid
FJ...fair play to you mate.....Thinkk the fact that it was so publicised is what affects so many. I appreciate your comments and the tragedy you persionally went through..... We all know Oddball is a little bit, well, Odd! It was an ill-judged off the cuff remark that he regrets. Hes held his hands up and I think that should be the end of it.
