perhaps drogba and alike will look at a fellow footballer fighting for his life, stop all these cowardly attemps to fein injury and stop acting and all the ****e which goes on , in general the whole of the football faternity should use this as a start to acting like men and not petulant children. How many weekends in our own counties do we hear of young men and women collapsing in simular circumstances with no chance of the medical attention recieved at the top level, comon lets make the game honest again and drive out this cheating pantomine which has spoilt our natinal sport.
Your correct of course, but sadly this incident will change nowt.... The money at stake is far to high, and until the FA finally get a grip and start handing out huge fines and long bans, it'll stay the same....sadly
The F.A should do retrospective punishment for instances like this. Drogbas peeakaboo for instance should get a one match ban for me. Interesting what Paul Jewell did recently with Chopra and Bullard when they were daft. Said the punishment was what would hurt each guy more. Bullard got a ban, Chopra got a fine.
People will never stop doing it and what happened last night with mulumba at wba will make things worse. Dunno if anyone saw it, but he was fouled got up, pushed the mcarthur who stayed on his feet and walked away, so mulumba chased him then got another wigan player by the throat. he only got a yellow card. tiote took a tap fell to the floor clutching his face and sess was sent off. I'm in no way having a go at tiote because it was a red card, but because the two lads at wigan didn't go down mulumba got away with a yellow. If the refs can't follow the letter of the law then players will continue to drop to the floor to force the decision. Its bad to see players rolling round the floor, but if the refs can't make the correct decisions without it then it will continue to get worse. The ref at wba knocked back any attempt of getting play acting out the game.
Said exactly this to the missus this morning but alas they will be rolling about as per usual next weekend. Good post though
the prime example has just finished his performance at liverpool a total discrace to the sport ........ suarez i come from humble football stock but this man and his likes will destroy our game if not already has. i started this topic this morning as its embarrasing to watch this happening and it makes me want to ditch the whole thing,
You would like to think that things will be brought back into perspective but these are 20 somethings earning more money than we can ever dream of earning, doing their dream job and as such are not in touch with reality. They will remember it for a week or so but by the end of the month (at the latest) they will go back to being their usual twattish selves!
