Enjoy QLander,, lets hope we do them in the rugby. ( Not that I give a ****, I hate the game.) Footballl for fat blokes, and tries are ****. Tommy Smith hitting the back of the net from 30 yards is far more fun.

I have Irish ancestry so I will be supping a few of the Guinness today (not that I don't other days). My favourite was Murphy's but it is hard to find and even harder for Beamish Black, since they changed the formula for Guinness in England.

Whatever happened to the letter that was drafted up to be sent to the club about the Irish connection? Did it ever get a response?

Aaahhhhh, 1954, there is one amongst us with a bit of class and taste! A man who knows Murphy's and Beamish must be a man of the world (huh, Ciarrai?).

Ah Jaysus 999, get off that feckin' fence will ya? Is it Irish or English? Try and decide between now and Weds and then you can let me know over a pint in the Queen Adelaide (how is the beer in there by the way, or is that a silly question?)

Whatever about the beer, what is the Guinness like in the Queen Adelaide. I drink nothing else, its like mother's milk to me.

I thought you'd reply to that one Corker! There was a day when if you went into a pub in Cork City and just said Pint, you'd be served Murphy's not Guinness.

That's unfair. Brix put a lot of time and effort into drafting that, Cerny. And I think it looked very well at the end.

    Thanks CB.

Thought we'd give it a try but never got a reply so you're probably right - as cynics invariably are.
