Similar with stephens he signs I remember saying thought he was lazy and nothing special at woking got a torrent of he`s so good special player....to be fair he went on to prove me wrong till he got injured now he`s back and drop him he`s poor ect... We do like our mood swings we are top by 10 points reality check plese boys
We are the best team in the league, a game like tonight is well within our grasp. I think we will put out a 3-1 victory, with shef united drawing.
Did Hayes get stick? Stephens remains my favourite player, but either CP isn't playing him correctly or he his form has dropped significantly. I think it's more of the first, and would like to see him get forward much more. He was signed as a creative/goal scoring midfielder, but we haven't seen much of that since his injury. I'd like to see Hughes or Russell come in for hollands for a game or two in order to free Stephens up, and give him more freedom. But I don't see CP dropping DH.
He had one stinker game at The Valley, SC and he was getting a lot of verbal, even from the normally docile Upper West crowd. Pretty unjustified, IMO.
Can't say I saw it. I remember people originally being unhappy he was dropped for kermo when he and BWP were doing well together. Disappointing that he received stick.
I'm afraid I'm one of the turncoats. I was baying at CP away to MK Donuts to get Hayes and Waggy off and Yann and Green on. Was proved right on that occasion. Hayes frustrates me because his footballing brain is miles ahead of his actual ability. But he offers us something that we are sadly lacking at the moment which is a link between midfield and attack as an alternative to hoofing it to Yann. I want him back so long as his head is adjusted to playing for us after the way he has been treated.
Just back we won 1-0............. it must of been a close call between Azeez and Sho-Silva but guess Chris went with Ade because he is a second year trainee rather than a first year like Toby.
Agree Mike. Gives us the full set of options. We've already got speedy and good in the air. We need clever link up to add to that
Charlton: Hamer; Solly, Wiggins, Taylor, Morrison; Wagstaff, Hollands, Russell, Jackson; Wright-Phillips, Kermorgant Subs: Sullivan, Cort, Pritchard, Stephens, Green
No Striker on the bench with Haynes having a hamstring problem, would of risked having Azeez on there instead of Sullivan... No game changers on the bench Clarke is starting for Crawley against Port Vale today
Yes cos Taylor is decent in goal..I have thought that most weeks we dont need a sub keeper due to Taylor being in the team
Exactly there is always one player that's good in goal and as you said we have a very capable keeper in Taylor..... Chesterfield 1 MK Dons 0 Bury 0 Wycombe 1
