Cheers MH. Im not nervous, but i know how we seem to do better as the underdogs when we have nothing to loose and we can play with freedom. If we play without fear and with our hearts then we can be unstoppable. However, if we worry we start to drop too deep and get caught out. Plus we start doubting ourselves and thats when the errors creep in.
Well looking at the stats it seems a home banker. However coventry are fighting for their lives and we are, even though sd and the club would never admit it, on cruise control, experiment time through to the summer. Do not think Coventry are going to take all 3 points but a score draw may prove to be good value with the bookies.
yay, hope you're having a great time Al! i'm sure you are! It's stats that that that make me nervous! yep, though this has been a strange season, so theoretically because of that, we should do better against teams like Coventry...not convincing myself here though lol
That stat terrifies me. We have a habit of breaking other club's rules of thumb, whether that's good for us or not.
If the crowd are as good as they were against Burnley, I am fully confident we can get all 3 points today, so going to go for a 3-1 Watford win. As long as Murray is playing, we can't lose! In the 7 Championship games he's played this season, we have not lost once. In the two games he missed through injury in between his run of games, both games were lost with 7 goals conceded and 0 scored. He's the difference
I guess, I remember some terrible results near the end of the past few seasons...... I can't remember a team coming to us without a win away from home though....(so far into the season). I think with Coventry, Jutkiwiecz has always been our bogey man....but he is at Middlesbrough now so they don't have too many goals in them.
This game reminds me of the Peterboro' game a few seasons ago, (2010 I think), when they too hadn't won a away match all season, then low and behold come to the Vic and win 1-0, so with Coventry's away form it's got to be a away win banker!
I like the new username! Agree with lots of people on here , we'll probably gift them a goal and let them win. But having said that, I'm going to predict a 2-1 win to us.
I suppose we could have predicted this when he was recalled from Braintree, but good to see Team: Kuszczak; Doyley, Mariappa, Nosworthy, Dickinson; Murray, Eustace, Hogg, Kacaniklic; Assombalonga, Deeney.
