If you could give 5 words to describe yourself at this current time for the season ahead. What would they be if you follow a certain driver or team, maybe you're just a neutral just enjoying the ride. If you would like to, go and expand on this, into more detail about these feelings and tell us why maybe? Mine would be: Excited Confident Butterfly's Patience Adrenalin
Excited that the season has properly started, but a bit disappointed we can;t yet see who is and isn't quick.
I thought Sky did a good job of covering the first two practice sessions giving lots of info and some really informative interviews with some of the teams. The commercial breaks did not seem too intrusive either.
Annoyed I couldn't watch it this morning, excited that I've found a friend with Sky HD for the weekend
Sky won't stop me from following the sport I love live. Whether it's a gritty online stream or just Radio 5 live accompanied by live tracking I'll still be following! Can't wait for this one. Remember feeling sick as hell last year when the season started so this will be the first time in two years (three even because 2010 started in Bahrain!) where I am really excited!
There will be no problem watching F1 even if you do not have Sky. There will be plenty of decent streams.
Watching extended highlights on the BBC will suit me fine for the flyaways, as it's not difficult to avoid the result on a Sunday morning and it's very rare that you can't take your eyes off a race from lights to flag. It's only races in the European timezones that will pose dilemmas, because if I don't watch those live I will find out the result.
5 words: Jumping out of my socks. I love that we don't know who is fast yet and that the wet practice sessions for a likely dry race throws it all up in the air. Can't wait to see who will pick up the pieces!
Around 12:30 in the arvo right now, I'm soooo tired My dad is a true F1 fan as well. He said he had a dream last night that Raikkonen and Ricciardo had collided and they were having a huge argument but most people seemed to be on Daniel's side
Curiously the Q123 were broadly representative of testing and FP123, lots of stuff mixed up, and Grosjean's 3th is just sublime. I can't stand Schumacher but I'm genuinely pleased he's now showing some form at long last RBR seem to have forgotten the season's started and they can take the sandbags out of the cars !
Don't get me wrong, I'd be quite happy if he totally screwed up just to vindicate my opinion of him, it's just that there are enough screwups in F1 (no names no pack drill but HRT know who I'm talking about) not to need MSC to be another failed has-been bimbling around at the back of the pack.
