I actually like DJ,hes a QPR fan and does have goals in him.Hes just had a bit of a shocker with injurys,so has never really been fit. If we go down,I can see him and Bothroyd doing a god job for us next season...Two,very good championship players.

Sorry but I agree this is not news for me. If this player was brought in and the sacrifice was reported to be Kasper Gorkss then who got the best deal?

I rate HH ,Bothroyd, Zamora and Cisse well ahead in the pecking order. I would even play Mackie before DJ I 'm afraid.

Mackie? That may be going a bit far! [Actually, I'm a bit of a Mackie fan.]

A fully fit DJ would have scored some of the goals we have missed, probably a difference of about 8 points.

    Agree totally!

Absolutely shocking attitude away at MK. Injury or no injury, just gave up, same as Bothroyd.

DJ a complete mystery to me. Saw him play for Birmingham a few times - he was a source of endless embarrassment to the Bluenoses. How he scored 10+ goals last year is beyond me. Saw him come on as a sub at the Emirates, not only was he porky and out of breath ( perhaps forgive able after his illness) his positional sense was such that I don't think he got within 5 yards of the ball. Wish him all the best, but Christ we were desperate last summer - him Dyer and Gabbidon (interesting that he doesn't get a look in now, but didn't think he was too bad, just injury prone ). Betty I thought could have been ok, and was for one half against Spurs and the Man City game. Otherwise great impression of the Invisible Man
PS DT where do you put Macheda in your pecking order?

Fair enough his injuries this season has included dysentry and the like but having listened to open all r's the words ned zelic come to mind. except for being as versitile as an egg.

probably incapacitated by an egg knowing our luck.

No good in Prem but if Zam/Cisse hop it,then DJ/Bootsy might do a job in the Championship..

Right now I'd say hes worth sod all. Our forever injured, ancient Iceman has scored four times the amount of this England International.

    Hes useless.
