Well Del has sent the rallying call out, players have been asked to produce the goods on the pitch, the fans have given tremendous support in the last two homes games. There should be one thousand plus at pompey tomorrow backing the lads. Let's hope we can come back with the points, but a draw would be acceptable, what we don't want is a loss, that will put us right in the **** time to stand up and produce go get the three points lads.
They have got to play out of their skins tomorrow, stuff the quality, play for the win and then I can get pissed tomorrow night and have a hangover for Mothering Sunday, none of 'em will want to talk to me anyway..
mother ****ers day! I've taken a day off of work, lunch in Weymouth and then feeding the kids to the penguins at the sealife centre!
Oh yea, forgot this was a football thread........... I'd make Jon Stead captain, as he has shown the right fighting spirit
Message for Massive...Don't try to go to the channel islands on the ferry, the docks falling into the sea, there ain't no boats...
To be fair not a bad shout,he has been in blistering form and three goals as well. Another big performance please Jon,I now u read the forum.
Lovely, a mothering Sunday thread......!!! Back to the football. IMO, we lose this game against Portsmouth and we're doomed.....And I won't be happy. We will see if DM is worth his salt tomorrow needing to get his tactics spot on. As I've said before, effort alone will not be enough.
My last post for a while but I wish us nothing but the right luck down at Portsmouth today. No more excuses because if you play well enough the result will take care of itself. Coming home today with anything less than a point is unacceptable and 3 points are really what is required. The games are fast running out and going in to every game with a winning attitude is our best way of ensuring the our future is secure. Please do the right thing today and get us those valuable 3 points so we can look down the table with more faith.
Let's hope our luck changes for this game. Two own goals from Pompey would do nicely to win us the game!! BTW - what's happened on the loan front then? Not so long ago Del was saying we were scouring the market and needed more help - now not a peep. Just because we won one game doesn't mean the squad is now fine. So many confusing messages coming out of AG recently - I don't really know what's going on. Anyway - hoping to have a good Saturday night for the first time in god knows how long!
