I think we're going down. It seems inevitable to me. However, if there is a God out there, please spare us from sinking back into that Hoof-ball, hacking, one-dimensional, quality-less utterly dreadful division. I fear I might not be able to take having to go back there. Admittedly, an odd bit of play breaks out occasionally but for the most part the standard of football at that level is suicide-inducing. People say its a great league but that's true only as far as its unpredictability is exciting. The actual stuff that's served up though is frightful. Give me thrashing's most weeks in the Premiership than winning most weeks in that ghastly Footballing wilderness that is the Football League.
I think the doom and gloom exhibited by the Artist Formerly Known As The Ball Goes Wide To Nathan Dyer is rubbing off on him.
I remember praying to God as a ten year old in 1976. It was the night before Wolves played Liverpool. I believed in him up until half-time. I haven't since.
I love the championship, the remote northern outposts, indifferent pies, chip fat, wet Tuesday's in hull, 442 442 442 442 442 442, 56 managers a season, knowing all your fellow away fans on a first name basis.....bring it on
Tbf Swords it's a **** league and internationally that's being found out. I can't think of an EPL right-back who has the skill to do what that Iraola did last night. 7th best team in Spain against EPL champions. We are so far behind it's scary. I am pessimistic about our chances of surviving in the Premier League this season but, whilst I'd greatly prefer not to experience it again quite so soon, I have always enjoyed the Championship. There are a good number of teams who play hoofball in that league but we don't have to be one of them, although we have succumbed to that temptation in the past. If we keep the core of the present team and use our finacial strength to build for the future, I think we can play our back into the PL in time for the 2013/14 season.
You have no idea Mr Beef Curtains he is a complex brother of the QPR order I can confirm that . Our spectrum is wide my friend our resources mighty and our resolve everlasting We are looking forward to doing things the very hard way now back to my bong and Brighton kicks ... Regards to the singing postman from Wroxham way xx
Bang on the money and watching the football league show after MOTD is also a horrible way to spend a Saturday evening ... I am thinking I could buy a little place near Brecon and at weekends start following the best footballing team out there Swansea
