Are you insinuating that Coventry supporters are not football supporters then? I know they have not had a good season, but that is rather harsh...

You know what what would be good on this board - to publish posters IP addresses so that we can see who is behind these new posters that have been around for a long while with only a few posts. Other boards list the posters IP address...

W-y the mods do have this ability and it helps to for them to keep an eye out for potential troublemakers or advertisers and also cull a lot of crap as soon as it gets posted on here .

I was only making a joke referring to some comments on uncle Bob's closed thread. Maybe my sense of humour is different to everybody else's. ( another reference ).
Oh, and by the way my name is Mark Hill. Your name does not appear in your profile and I know of no counties in the UK called bandit country.
Now please, accept a one line joke for what it was intended to be.

Yes, back on topic please.... there is a match tomorrow, which, we might actually be the favourites for!

If you want to discuss who is and isn't allowed to make jokes on here, may I suggest starting a new thread... I hear using a poll can be useful too <ok>

Okay, sort of on topic, I was looking on YouTube for highlights of our 4-0 win a few years ago. Couldn't find any, but came across something equally good.

Sammy Clingan left Norwich following their relegation in 2009. He joined Coventry, declaring he "felt it gave [him] the best chance of playing in the Premier League". Norwich just happened to play Coventry on the last game of last season, and the Canaries had these gracious words of consolation after clinching their promotion to the Premier League two years later.

I wont move the posts cos i want to be sure it wont mess anything up, and i cant be. No other reason lol.

We certainly are the favourites, we are coming off the back of 3 great matches whereas Cov are struggling atm. I just hope we dont do the usual and **** it up!!!!

I love that! I would love to be able to say that to MM at some point lol.

Before someone adds Andrew Taylor to that list, don't. Got nothing against him at all. He gave us the best football of his career, and when he left we pretty much accepted that he could do a great job for a better paying club than us. It's a shame he chose Cardiff, but that's just one of them things.

I wouldn't - it would imply that, as manager, he could have achieved promotion with us. Whilst I liked him, I do think that he didn't have it in him to take us up - there's something still missing with him. I think that Cardiff are beginning to find out that, when the pressure is on and things start to go wrong, he simply can't turn them around.

I think any team would be favourites against Coventry when they're away.

Coventry haven't won away all season, managed only 3 draws and scored only 7 goals.

Just where has my day gone? :(

You look at Coventry's record away from home and think this should be a stroll in the park for us. Then you start to think negative thoughts, such as we don't do well against the stragglers, surely they have to win away before the seasons out, they will be desperate to stay in the Championship, they have a transfer embargo so the players that are there will be trying to prove a point.

I probably will miss most of the game tomorrow, but will be very nervous about our chances of scoring the goals that will be needed. A good start to the game could see their heads drop and it does turn out alright, but I always remind myself that anything can happen in this division.

Good predictions guys, esspecially given Coventry's away record. I expect a simple home win. If only things can stay to from we'll be ok !

Everyone seems a bit nervous about this one. I've got feeling (perhaps misguided) that we'll cruise it...3-0 or 4-1. No idea why we'd score 4, but just got a silly feeling...
