Match 1: Apoel v Real Madrid
    Match 2: Marseille v Bayern
    Match 3: Benfica v Chelsea
    Match 4: Milan v Barca

In the semis it's winner of match 1 v winner of match 2 & winner of match 3 v winner of match 4

Chelsea will be happy with avoiding some of the better teams. Benfica aren't a bad team though.

That's not a bad draw for them having avoided a tie against one of the big names. Though I'm guessing if they beat Benfica they'll face either Milan or Barca?

WOW what a shock NOT!!! as if there was ever a chance that Real Madrid and Barcelona would be drawn to play each other and also they miss each other in the semis. Looks like UEFA Plan A is working well very well this year. ;) :emoticon-0116-evilg

    FINAL......Real Madrid v. Barcelona.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
FIX or what ? :steam:

Potential for a Real V Barca final. For the semis I'd go for Real V Bayern and Chelsea V Barca.

They played each other last season in the semi finals. Hardly a fix if they're playing Milan is it?

I never it was Just that i am not surprised at all that the only time they can play is in the final. The final that maybe the world wants to see and is most marketable. Cynic i am yes, but where Uefa is concerned,, well.... ?

In the last two years they've been drawn in opposite halves once, and in the same half once, and they're actually more likely to be drawn in opposite halves than in the same half just on the maths.

I reckon Milan might just knock Barca out. I'm going for a Chelsea v Madrid final. No doubt Mourinho will come out on top, as usual.

No he didn't, Gerry and what's her face accidentally killed her and then milked everyone for money because the press like middleclass people and gave them sympathy instead of the outrage if it had been some commoner that had been that negligent. Just look at that ugly bint that copied them, they villified her and her kid was safe and well the whole time.

She has just been released from prison. She used to live about 1/2 a mile from where I live now. She's decided not to return to where she used to live. Cant imagine why

Great draw for Chelsea, not underestimating Benfica though, maybe our Portuguese mate here HFFP might have a few pointers on them?

Chelsea will win the Champions League this year, remember where you heard it.

As for the Shannon Mathews carry on.

All I'm prepared to say is that it came as a total shock to find out her greasy haired, spotty, reactolite wearing, four eyed, socially inept ,Internet addicted step Dad was a nonce.

He just didn't look the type<laugh>

Does anyone know where the phrase NONCE came from?

It's an acronym isn't? Not On Normal...I can't remember what the C and E stand for but it's to do with when they're in prison them not being included in the general population, and I think it was more than just what we call nonces now, it was any prisoners that were likely to be specifically targetted because of their crime.

Of course that might be a bacronym.

    Not
    On
    Normal
    Courtyard
    Exercise

'Twas indeed an acronym stamped on the top a prisoners record if we was a beast.

It applied to grasses and ex plod who were doing bird.

Ooooh I've gone all McVicker .

Is that true? If so, I'm impressed.

I never knew that, and I feel enriched now. A new factoid to impress Party Hull's friends/relatives with.

I was told that by a former prison warden so unless he was telling fibs feel free to impress away.

My favourite factoid is the one regarding where sticking two fingers up comes from.
If you don't know I shall reveal all.

To keep this slightly on topic, both Lampard and Terry will score in the final.
