http://www.rags4rangers.com/ What next? Jesus I have had some laughs out of this. Wheather they die or not.
Cheers, Ciaran. We're actually more interested in raising money for the RCF and other football-related charities, although a portion of proceeds are currently earmarked for the RFFF. But our primary focus is charitable donations, and we're looking to announce a partnership with a MLS supporters' group later today to help that effort along.
I strongly disapprove of commercial ventures passing themselves off as charitable organisations. You are not registered with OSCR. either you are a charity or you ain't...and you ain't.
We're in the states and don't accept direct donations. As such, we don't have to file as a 501c3. Expenses vs. income reported in yearly taxes. Thanks for your concern.
Oh and I don't begrudge you for that. Craig whyte is making a few dollars out of Rangers inexorable slide towards liuidation. why shouldn't Smokey mountain Shane.
You know US tax law? Please explain where we've run afoul of it then. No tax charged to purchases, dedicated account maintained separate from other ventures, appropriate MoUs in effect with partners and vendors... This isn't my first rodeo, and insinuating that my intentions are ill-formed without doing the basic maths of what we pay out per piece vs. the cost of producing said pieces is a pretty big leap.
Is this a commercial venture or not? Yes or no? Shane is going to do rather nicely out of this, charitable contribution at the end of it or not.
