    Fry's Five Centres
    Five assorted fruit flavoured cremes.

If you’ve tried Fry’s Chocolate Cream, imagine a bar like that but with five different flavoured fillings: raspberry, lime, strawberry, pineapple and orange. You’re imaging Fry’s Five Centres, which launched in 1934 but went to the great conveyor belt in the sky in 1992.

It was probably deemed unfit for consumption by the EU because it tasted better than some Belgian ****e that cost four times as much but is considered REAL chocolate by jolly pop music loving Europeans. Perhaps Dave Richards, pissed or not, is a spokesman for a genewation as Rik Mayall said.

    How can Spangles have disappeared?

A Bar Six! They went vertical unlike the horizontal Kit Kat. Bootiful. I used to buy them from the machine at the bus station. And the flavoured milk machine.
What used to make me laugh was they had a flavoured milk machine outside the Gala. With the stuff you could buy in there I doubt you would want strawberry flavoured milk.

Nan always had a 'Bar Six' for me when I visited her. Blas me bor, that was in the mid sixties ! <laugh>

Dad always bought me a pack of 'Munchies' from the man just inside the ground as we entered through the turnstile on matchday. So moorish I used to polish them all off before kick-off !!

This will bring back memories redruth, spot the 'Bar Six' bottom right and note the price 6d (2.1/2p) !

*** machines, that takes me back. I remember one Saturday night in my local, place was packed out. These two guys in brown coats, (the type that Ronnie Barker used to wear as 'Arkwright'), came in and started fiddling with the cigarette machine. They then proceeded to to carry it out and put it in the back of a transit van. We never thought that anything was amiss, we thought that it was being taken for repair, until the Landlord asked where it was. Turned out the thieving bastards had stolen it AND it had just been filled up ! <laugh>

I hated those ones that had the chewy things with three in a packet. Jesus, I used to be chewing on them for hours.
Bar Six was two and a half pence! What the hell can you get for that now. Munchies had the mint equivalent Mintolas of course. Is it me or were Wagon Wheels bigger then.

I think it's just that your hands were smaller. This is why I prefer ladies with small hands.
