On Nick Barmby interview for the Ipswich game with Burnsie on Tiger player when asked he said he was training with the team for 2 weeks, and will see what comes of it. Also said no interest in Fowler, and would only go into the loan market if injury or suspensions happened.

Stuart Parnaby is close to agreeing a contract with Hull until the end of the season. The former Birmingham full back, 29, is wanted as cover for Liam Rosenior, 27, who picked up his eighth booking of the season on Tuesday. He scored for the ressies the other night and our defence although very good is a little bit short in terms of options, so I would imagine we'll probably take him on a short term deal, especially if Roseniors on 8 bookings. Only issue I can see is his injury problems flare up during the trial.
Probably already knew this anyway. He's on the verge of signing till the end of the season. Looks like he'll be cover for Rosey, whose on 8 bookings, and is risking a suspension. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2115086/Stuart-Parnaby-joins-Hull-City.html? Edit: OLM, you can delete or merge this thread, i've just spotted the other one on Parnaby when i scrolled down.
there aint no strikers available that would improve us. that maybe why NB will stay with what he has got. just saying like.
Having reached this point I agree. January was the time to go for a striker. Once you're into the loan window you're going to struggle to find anyone of the calibre needed up front.
What like all the loan options on Premier League strikers that would probably jump at the chance of joining a Championship team with play off aspirations? Just saying like......
A few possible candidates that aren't getting much/any games: Blackburn Goodwillie Bolton Kevin Davies/Tuncay Liverpool Raheem Stirling (He's meant to be outstanding) QPR DJ Campbell/Helgusson/Hulse Stoke Fuller Swansea Dobbie All would offer something different. I just think we need something different, not enough variety on the bench. I'm not a manager, but there'll be loads of players not playing that would perhaps like to play some football, crazy thought I know.
out of those I'd prefer helgusson, think he'd make a great foil for fryatt but is powerful enough and good enough in the air to play alone. wishful thinking we know but football wouldn't be football without pontification! and no I won't change the record, we should have stumped up for Jason Roberts.
Blackburn Goodwillie - they're not likely to loan out one of their subs when they're in a relegation battle. Bolton Kevin Davies/Tuncay - have played in 27 and 21 games for Bolton this season. They're not going to be loaning out players that have been that heavily involved without it costing a fortune, unless there's a contract issue with either of them that means they're not going to play again because like Blackburn they're in a relegation battle. Liverpool Raheem Stirling (He's meant to be outstanding) - is a winger according to Liverpool's website QPR DJ Campbell/Helgusson/Hulse - Campbell has been injured, Helguson I think is still their top scorer, and Hulse has scored 4 goals in the last 2 years. Stoke Fuller - is playing for them surely, or at least on the bench? He got sent off in their last game. Swansea Dobbie - 5'8 and just over 10 stone. What's he offering that's different?
