Really? Are you sure? Considering we've had some absolute ****e playing for us over the years. I wouldn't say he was great for us, by any means.
I'd agree with you, he'd be up there. Add Richard Snekers to that list for me. He had a decent reputation at West Brom and all.
You young whipper-snappers don't know you're born!! Ever heard of Stuart Croft, Steve Richard (shudder), Alf Wood or Dave (Phuck Off You Useless Tw@t) Bamber?
My dad just saw this quote and in his old age said Roger deVries? Plus other than Van Blerk my all time useless sh1te Hull City player goes to... (drumroll please). Phil Brumwell. Played a brilliant FOUR games in his Hull City career in 2000/01 season and then went back to Darlington. Any improvements on this?
This is pretty much to do with the City vs Palace forum turning into a mass debate on City's worst players. The club have been asking who's the best signings we've had in the last 20 years, so who are the worst? My top 5 have to be. 1. Phil Brumwell 2. Jason Van Blerk. 3. Peter Halmosi 4. Simon Walton (just to please OLM) 5. Sergio Leite (The keeper we had god knows how long ago who turned out to be garbage!) The other two I could use are Martin Reeves and Shaun Smith. Any one for any more?
One player that used to wind me and I'm not sure he was that bad was Matt Hocking. He looked a ponce with his blonde curtains, not what a centre half should look like. He played like an iron as well. He probably doesn't deserve to be on the list of all time ****ehawks but he didn't half used to get on me tits.
Richard Knight. I didn't see him myself but he let in 4 goals on his debut and was sent straight back to Derby.
When did he leave? It was definitely before the 99/00 season which was the first I supported City at the tender age of 7!
1. Nick Deacy 2. Danny webb (he's one for the future you know) 3. Jason Harris 4. Kevin Gage 5. That baldy keeper we had about 15 years ago, who kept getting sent off, and was so crap i've forgotten his name
Funnily enough in '99. Your arrival must been enough for him to **** off. Well done!! He was supposed to be a cultured ball playing centre half but he was just a great big, blonde haired fairy. When I say ' great big' he was actually skinny as a lat.
